ok call of duty was nice, still is nice kinda. but its getting to be a bit much. they come out with a new game EVERY year it seems, and its getting kind of old. the whole FPS fad thats been happening lateley is getting out of control. i say we boycot call of duty so they can actually take time to make a good game and not just fire them out of there ***** every 6 months. cause honestly they are making way to much money for what they are producing

I played from the original call of duty. But I couldn't finish the new soulless games mw2 and couldn't even start BO. When you start treating your customers like brainless animals and your developers as something to be abused then there isn't a point investing in the franchise. Also the environment that activison has built. Has become a nest of little children screaming about kdr. Hardly any mature people play anymore because they switched to better games like BBC:2 for one. Map packs, subscription based multiplayer, inflated game prices, hardly any patches and no dedicated servers has made this into a franchise that is slowly dieing. Only carried forward by it's past successes that it is no clinging to for dear life.

Call of duty has really turned badly. It used to be a game were it was very open and fun to play like BF 1942 but has no just descended into chaos as people think there good for throwing grenades across maps and getting kills and getting yelled at for using any tactic besides the run and gun. I much prefer to play BF2 as it is a much more open game that can use a wide range of tactics in and dont have to worry about getting massacred because there is actual teamwork involved. For any gamers out there who like a good game involving teamwork I suggest you try out Project Reality mod for Bf2 it is the opposite of CoD and an amazing game.

Umm. Just so you know, and I get your point, I really do but... Many of their customers might as well be brainless (very few of the brainless ones are here on Armor Games, luckily) and the developers take the abuse. If they don't hold their own and actually have a part of what the game becomes (not being told what to make and doing it), then in a way, they bloody deserve it.

Oh and BF2, not BFBC2, is still awesome (BFBC2 is awesome, but it hasn't been out nearly as long).

I still remember playing 1942 "Omaha Beach" on Singleplayer just to massacre the enemies.

Or you know, riding the Spitfire in a dogfight

For a last note: I agree with essentially everything Darkroot and soakerman had just said great to know you guys are on board

i think there getting what they payed for, but if you already have cod4, or if you already have mw2 then its just a waste of time to by the new game cause you already have the same one. they dont change crap, they keep its crappy server problems, they dont ever test there games long enough thus why theyre are so many hack and glitch problem.

CoD isn't 'becoming a little too much'.Its probably because your either annoyed by the lag,not very good at playing it or have just been dumped by your girlfriend.

um your an idiot XD. what an ignorant statement, i played cod4 pro and made money when they still had tournaments for that game. my lady issues arent really a problem, and yes i am annoyed at lag because it could be fixed. im just stating that you are wasting your money

Yes,Treyarch and Activision knew that there are/would be hackers but they didn't know there was going to server/lobby problems.Mw2 didn't lag.The only reason Black Ops only lags because there are millions that play it.Sorry if I was being a troll.Im only trying to make my statement.And for me, ive got no lady problems.

Again proving your idiocracy. Incase you didn't know, the Internet, in a way, becomes "thicker" as more people go on it, not thinner. Nice try.
Besides, Dedicated Servers remove that problem anyway.

It's not even lag, it's because Treyarch are stupid, leaving out the PC and not letting even the XBOX (which is their biggest platform for selling) have full optimization.

For instance, the Xbox runs at 60 Frames Per Second, so does PC (because if it goes any higher on Black Ops it stutters).
I know, for a FACT, that I can run Black Ops on at least 250 Frames per Second STEADILY, but because Treyarch foolishly done it wrong, it doesn't quite work like that.

Gameplay wise, it's pretty okay, except Snipers suck with their hit registration (which is partially related to previously mentioned Frames problems).
Black Ops - Good gameplay, bad everything else.
MW2 - Terrible gameplay, good everything else (I've barely suffered Hit Registration problems and even lag sometimes).

Oh, StarCraft II > First Person Shooters
Especially with Tournaments, one reason for that is because I find easy ways of being updated with them, I've seen... too many tournament matches for SCII, but I've barely heard of tournaments for CoD4 (a couple, yes, alot? Definitely not).

To be fair, it hasn't got too much bad lag. It's not as much as people say there is, but there is definitely some.

lol i guess you could consider it betting. not really though. your team payed 20 bucks each to participate and if you won first place you got 180 dollers usually. me and my friend usually got first so ya.

starcraft has the biggest oppening for compitition so ya its worth it. and the probably street fighter

I don't think you went up on Youtube as "Tek 9 Stevy", "Diablo", "Lucker" and the sorts then?

But that is quite great if you managed to do that, though I don't like it when people reach high-fame for simply playing a game and winning money. The only person deserving that much attention from doing that is probably Athene because... Well hey, he's done some pretty amazing stuff, and if I'm right, he's gotten rank 1 in the world on SCII (type in "Best Protoss in the World" on Youtube), which... I'm not sure he did.
