ok call of duty was nice, still is nice kinda. but its getting to be a bit much. they come out with a new game EVERY year it seems, and its getting kind of old. the whole FPS fad thats been happening lateley is getting out of control. i say we boycot call of duty so they can actually take time to make a good game and not just fire them out of there ***** every 6 months. cause honestly they are making way to much money for what they are producing
That is pretty much the only part I could agree with you on.
Something new? No, it's the same, something new is justified by something either original or foreign to the series - none of the crap they brought is foreign. Destructible ground? Foreign to BF (though not entirely original, it's derived from Operation Flashpoint). Nanosuit? Completely original as far as I know.
i mean i dont think the quality of the games itself are bad i just think people are being fooled and wasting there money cause they release the same game practically EVERY year XD. but i mean its your dollars you can waste it if youd like
Ever since Call of Duty 4... people have been playing like so addicted to it, then to WaW, then to MW2, then to BO, all because of Multiplayer... it's being too much, but still, I love it!
FPSs, regardless of whether they're CoD or not, are awesomely fun. The one salient point to make though is that most of the latest ones could have just been released as mods/addons for the previous versions.
CoD isn't 'becoming a little too much'.Its probably because your either annoyed by the lag,not very good at playing it or have just been dumped by your girlfriend.
The games are not what you are saying they are fun and intense you probably are just mad because you are no good at them

Few notes: 1) You have not directly countered our actually reasonable arguments. 2) You are targeting us in your arguments in order to skew off other peoples opinions on what we think. 3) My first game back on MW2, and a FPS in at least 4 months and I get a 4:1 ratio with just quickscopes and noscopes. I am definitely better than average and that is my FIRST GAME BACK
Don't bullcrap yourselves, chances are if you like CoD, you suck at other games. I'm not trying to sway you, I have met great players, though CoD - of every game ever (including other FPS's), is without a doubt the easiest one.
If you believe otherwise, don't buy MW3 using something called self-control, and instead take up on my bet by getting Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, Brink, or w/e upcoming FPS. Guaranteed - harder.
Pretty much people like you. I haven't met so much people that are unreasonable unless they're the ones, much like you, with less than a couple posts with very little reason in ones related to threads like these. What does that say?
Oh, and the previous reasons do not count, sure, you gave a few, but they're terribly bad ones.
