It's funny how your almost never born atheist, you become atheist. I personally think the whole religion thing is far fetched. Why cant we just be dead after we die? Why does there HAVE to be an afterlife? Dont get me wrong i respect others decisions, I just don't believe in it, who's with me? I'm going to be some grass fertilizer one day And home to some maggots + worms.
I can tell you this: The little alien is much, much cuter than that silly fish with the greek writing. I always found that fish to be an extremely accurate portrayal of religion: cold, scaly and dead out of water
Niiiiice, Badum-tush!
I can do you one better
Indeed you did. Nice call mate, best pic I've seen lol :>
I love you guys, by the way. You make me laugh. Almost as much as I love the flying spaghetti monster.
+ That link someone sent was utter awesomesauce, DINO JESUS! :>
in a world that is obviously flawed, and this is the best it's going to get,
You contradicted yourself. You say it's flawed, and yet you aren't open to the possibility of it being better. Of course it can happen, it just takes utter will, passion, oration skills (probably) and open-mindedness.
Plus great social skills and relation to people (as in you can "See where Im comin frum innit bruv".
That, in my opinion, sounds kind of depressing.
To be fair what you said is pretty awesome. Yeah, it has limits, so, I say we quit messing about on Call of Duty and do some Science! To try and stop it. In the end people take life wayyy to seriously and they take other things not seriously enough. It's all fun and games until someone breaks a nail most of the time. Really speaking make the life for the next generation better in every way possible, whilst furthering scientific knowledge to end this imminent death you state, opening up more doorways to the next generation, in the end, it's just kinda nice to know we may soon have the power to stop anything.
And then our morals should kick and let it happen Nice trip though.
