It's funny how your almost never born atheist, you become atheist. I personally think the whole religion thing is far fetched. Why cant we just be dead after we die? Why does there HAVE to be an afterlife? Dont get me wrong i respect others decisions, I just don't believe in it, who's with me? If religous people are willing to kill because atheists are different why wouldn't a group of atheists do the same? people are people in every group there are mean and nice. you even said religon was bad. what if an extremist thought the same?

Atheism doesn't have holy scripture dictating what they should or shouldnt do and what they should believe. Have you read the bible? You can use the bible to justify murder and slavery, you can choose not to but its in there just in case.
And back to idea of atheist-terrorist.. (yes, i *know* its absurd, but its good example.) Look at yourself. Youre not a group? LOL. Youre sharing opinions, views on religions. Atheists AREN'T group. But, you guys, ARE kind of PART of group. Call them, "medium radical anticlerical atheists". Now, imagine that some sh**head listens to you, and gets you TOTALLY wrong. He gets the idea, that if religion id evil YOU must fight them. So he begins killing theists. WHOSE fault would that be? -Atheism? -Yours? -Or maybe just those violent idiots?
It's the violent idiot's fault. I do not endorse killing theists. I am attacking an idea, not a group of people. I would like for people to lose religion, not kill off everyone who holds it, and if anyone want's to take my opinions the wrong way then it's not my fault because they were not following what I had in mind at all.
Look at the page of any Christian on AG. Notice something? Almost all of them are talking to each other constantly. Now look at the average Atheist on ag. There's very few comments on religion.
You sort of could consider us a group, in that we all think the same basic things are wrong, and that removing religion would be a + to the world.
As for killing religious people...why? There's no purpose? How are they evil? They might believe some stuff that could be that way, but until they act on it I couldn't justify in any way harming them for just holding that belief.
In other words...yes, they are just violent idiots, who if were religious would have a valid (religious) reason to go around killing those who are different, where if you were an Atheist you would have no reaason at all.

No, it would be the fault of that person. Atheism teaches nothing, so cannot be perscribed to any act.
Atheism teaches nothing? BUT I'M ASKING *precisely* about YOURS views. YOU got common views, on the part that relligion is evil. So it SUDDENLY begins to BE ideology. Atheism is not ideology, yet ideologies can ARISE from atheism. If THEY would be used for violence, what then?
I think any rational, moral, ethical person will arrive at the same general consensus on what is right and what is wrong, what causes evil and how it proliferates.

The bible provides justifications for ****, murder, slavery and genocide. I did not give any justification for any of these so that is not a valid comparison. And besides, yes you can have a group of atheists, but atheism itself is not a group. I don't know how else to show this, but lets say non-stampcollectors arent a group of people. Yes you can have a group of people who do not collect stamps but non-stampcollectors aren't one big group that mass each sunday to not collect stamps.
Perhaps if I stated, "****, murder, slavery and genocide are okay if you do it to theists!" and the meaning of atheism changed to; Believing that what driejen says is true and perfect. Then you could say that such a terror attack is the fault of atheism.
