I personally think zombies have been overused in many video games. Here is a list of a few games that use them. 1. Left For Dead (1 and 2) 2. Black Ops 3. Plants vs. Zombies 4. Wolfenstien (I dont remember which one but there is) 5. Doom (Very old game) 6. Resident Evil (all of them) 7. The House of the Dead 8. Dead Rising 9. Call of Duty World at War: Zombies 10. Dead Space (1 and 2) Those are just 10 of the hundreds made. What do you think of this? Should new enemies be made or should zombies be improved to the point they can add a greater challenge by wielding weapons instead of overrunning you?
I believe there are too many zombies, not enough zombie based games too many games put zombies in a little add on when they should have a game of their own
Some of those games are zombie games meaning they shouldn't be on the list but games like CoD need to start leaving zombies alone and leave it to games about zombies. If you don't like zombies in games just don't buy a zombie game though. Also if you don't like the zombies mode in a game jsut don't play the mode if you don't want to.
In my opinion, zombies are and arent overused. I mean yes there are alot of zombie games, and alot of zombie movies, but still, dont get angry until there is a year where the only thing that comes out in games and movies is only about zombies. Which would still make me happy, I'm obsessed with zombies. Oooh, and the walking dead, you forgot that one. ^.^
Zombies are a cult classic. They are popular and they sell. Hell I have a Fold your own Zombie calendar. There will be years when they are huge and others where they are on the back burner till they get big again, just like pirates. It's just the ebb and flow of commercialism.
