hello, me wanna join the conversation anyways, i go with the catholic church's answer to homosexuality which is - people are made with different sexual orientations, and they can't change that. But, what they can do is not participate in the act of homosexuality cuz your sexuality is meant for procreation...
and on the topic of gay marriages...i am sorta against it cuz marriage is supposed to be an union of a man and woman (again the catholic church's perspective)...although, when gays marry and want a child, they adopt... which helps the world and makes a life better... but i wouldn't want to be that kid cuz everyone will know your parents/guardians are gay and make fun of you... i couldn't live with that...i know the last part sounds childish but w.e.
Snatched from a discussion of why it is more accepted for straight guys to be turned on by lesbian porn than straight gals being turned on by gay porn: "Even the Bible has nothing to say against girl-on-girl action. It demands death for men who lie with men, and women who lie with animals, but is silent on the topic of women who lie with women. I suppose God, presumably being a universe-sized straight guy, gets just as turned on by lesbian porn a the rest of the straight guys." -expandranon on FurAffinty.net
I dunno, I just found it funny, and it fits under the subject of this thread.
I've heard some people say gay marriages (where they are allowed) tend to last better than straight ones. Averagely that is. I don't know how much to put in it, though, since there's less gay marriages to judge from...
Not only that, a couple of US states have just allowed gay marriage. It will be a while before any sort of divorce rate can be determined for gays.
Its because in the bible, it is sodomy which is considered a sin, not being gay just gay sex, i guess lesbians cant do that so it doesnt count in the eyes of god.
I am a fairly religious person, but that does not mean that i believe every last word in the bible. When the bible speaks of homosexuality, and i have read the passage, it says man shall not lay down with man. This is one of the few topics in the bible that I disagree with. Homosexuals deserve all the same rights as anybody else in this country, for the bible also speaks of equality of human beings, which i strongly believe in.
I do not think that homosexuality is a conscious decision, but it is the way that God created that certain person. If you are heterosexual, when you started going through puberty and started having sexual thoughts and feelings, did u ever specifically say to yourself "I want to like members of the oposite sex."? No you most likely did not. That is just the way you have been since birth. Do Homosexuals say to themselves "I want to like members of the same sex."? No they were born to like members of the same sex just like you were born to like members of the oposite.
Don't really care what other people do, what they want to be, do, and become is none of my business. In all, i don't really care a person is a person and i treat everyone the same.
Thank some of yall for not being total jerks bout my comment cuz usualy wen some1 says something like that ppl get their panties all up in a bunch...and bajula...ur comment fails...it makes no sense watsoever.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I like to hit on lesbians. My reasons are as follows:
1) Forbidden fruit!
2) No need to worry about failing: failure is a certainty, enjoy the journey there!
3) No need to deal with the consequences of success: the only success possible is to have fun talking with a girl without the purity of that connection being contaminated by the prospect of sex! This is an easy and enjoyable success to achieve.
4) If you do succeed somehow then you must be a real man!
5) Many lesbians are friends with experimental bisexual girls!
Eh, I used to care. Then I grew up and realized "Why bother? Let them get married... doesn't hurt me any either way, so might as well stop the damned argument."
