Skyrim being my first Elder Scrolls game makes me want to go back and play the others. I feel that Skyrim deserves the title of best game of the year. Can't imagine how well the next one will be.
Well I did that and it rocked. Just playing all the Elder Scrolls, although the first 2 were very very hard. I needed Internet to complete the tutorial in TES Arena. But if Bethesda does it the same way as Skyrim we will need to wait another 5 years for TES VI.
yes i think you should great fun, good grafix changeable difficulty, you can play whatever way you like eg good guy or kill everything on sight, using magic, sword, axe, sheild etc,you can be a warrior archer mage kill dragons get a house get married get a dog kill mamoths.I think that it is great
Depends, they developed their own engines for Skyrim, hope they will simply build on them for the next game. Takes less time^^
seeing as morrow ind came 5 o r 6 year befor oblivion and daggerfall 5 or 6 befor that.
i guess the next 1 will take 5 or 6 year again.
and i like it that way. now they will release the next game again whit alot of updates compared to skyrim and not a new game whitout a real update. (they do that whit fallout already)
and beside will next year a expension be released and in 2 or 3 year another expension. just like whit morrowind and oblivion. and you got ofcours the massive amount of player made stuff you can download and add.
all in all this game will be fun for 5 year. no need to release 1 whitin that time. it will only go the way of other games that loses fans because of the many releases.

Yes, but with Fallout it was mainly because Fallout 3 was made by Bethesda game studios and New Vegas (which is just like AC:B and Revelations were to AC2) was made by Obsidian Entertainment and where Bethesda game studios only provided the patches.

then they shouldn't give the lisence to make a elder scrlls game to obsidian then. i like the years befor a new elder scrolls comes out as it is.
You know you've been playing too much Skyrim when you leave the house and constantly monitor the skies, fearing a dragon will swoop down on your way to the shop.

I think you misunderstood me. I was explaining why TES games take a long time to be released and Fallout less, and with less content.
But I don't think they would give the TES lisence to Obsidian because, unlike Fallout, TES is a game which they raised from the beginning and which they saw growing into what is has become now.
So do you guys think it's worthy getting? I have money for it so I'm thinking about buying it.[quote] no i think after how popular this elder scrolls game that they'll be able to hire allot more people and make the next one a bit quicker

yes i have it and it is SO addicting and [quote]But if Bethesda does it the same way as Skyrim we will need to wait another 5 years for TES VI. what i said in the last comment that's kinda italicized was meant for you
I'd rather have Skyrim keep their current team and only hire developers in the variety department. Their current game play team must be showing up late with the spell of cannabis the way the game's have been turning out.
i'm not sure the TES games all are made by the same team. ive readed somewhere that the average time some1 is busy in the gaming industry is about 5 or 6 year max. i dunno how valid this is but if that is true then i doubt they will have the same team for the next TES game.
btw there are also 2 expensions coming for skyrim they have also been there for morrowind and oblivion so.. =)

While its definitely not the exact same team, I'd bet there are a number of people that have been working on Elder Scrolls games since Arena or Daggerfall. And they will probably have the same team for the next game.

The dlc for Skyrim is supposed to be significantly better than it was for Oblivion.
I have just started to play Skyrim and I am really enjoying it. I like how you can use magic and fight with a variety of weapons. So far it is a good game.
