I love how in this game there are virtually no downsides to being a werewolf. You just loose resting benefits. But being a werewolf is so worth it. If theres ever a part you cant beat, go werewolf

Sadly that works less and less the higher level you are. The only way you can get stronger as a werewolf is by raising your basic health each time you level up; but for example as a high level warrior, you rely on your armor, that you lack as a werewolf. For mages it's even worse since they generally have lower health than warriors. IMO they should give a level-dependent armor rating for werewolves.
Though you're right, for quite some time being a werewolf has easily gotten me out of bad situations. Plus it's fun
I think being a werewolf is useful if you are carrying too much I got from the bottom of the map to whiterun in 5 minutes
Being a werewolf only lasts for 180 sec. (3 minutes). But I am a werewolf myself but I might create a new save and turn vampire just to see how that us in Skyrim.
Yeah I found werewolf anticlimactic. At first, it was incredibly awesome. But then you realize "aww, no stat increases" and "aww, I have to put my stuff back on after I reform" and "aww, no magic". I basically only used the werewolf for transportation purposes like dtdm12 said.
Yeah I personally don't really like the werewolf deal either. It sucks balls against dragons. It can tear humanoids in half depending on the difficulty but thats all its really good for. Skyrim though...That game is orgasmic.
In Morthal, there is of course the quest with the burned house to do. You can also try to talk to Gorm when he's in the Inn (quest apparently won't start as long as he's in the Jarl's house). Completing the delivery for Idgrod the Younger probably also counts towards the Thane thing. You could also always try to go chop some wood for Jorgen (radiant quest), though I'm not 100% sure this counts as helping the people; but try anyway.
