Can anybody tell me about these treasure maps i'm finding? I can#t seem to make heads or tails of them. :S Where's the treasure?
Those treasures aren't ment to be searched, you have to do it like I did in RDR and in Skyrim. Just read them, keep them and remember them. And then, when you are traveling, you find something that looks like the place from your treasure map, then you read the map, and you check the spot. If u search you will waste a lot of time.

To help out with Nightwish, most of these treasure maps are from significant landmarks like the Valtheim Towers that, from a distance, looks like a pair of scales. It's under Treasure Map #2 I think.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get my heavy armour to level up(currently level 60).Because I am trying to get the heavy armor perk conditioning as my dragon plate armour takes up alot of my carry weight.
I thought Skyrim looked pretty good and might be fun to play, but then I was browseing a game stop and then I decided against getting it. Then I began to think that maybe I should get, but after seeing the types of people who seem to be playing this game, that looks pretty good, I may go back to not wanting to get it.

Only use your fists to fight or equip healing then let enemies hit you a lot. It should increase rather quickly that way. Or if you have the money then see someone who trains you to use heavy armor.
Adding on to the gentleman before me, the tougher the enemy and the tougher the difficulty, the quicker you'll level up. So sitting there and letting a skeever attack you on easy won't get you as much as a draugr wight attacking you on normal, etc.

you should get it but i do have two warnings about the game for you you'll never want to get off and 2: you'll never want to play another video game again
Oh come.on! That's a very poor excuse for discarding a game such as Skyrim. I mean, it's not like gay marriage is forced on the player or anything, not like that is supposed to irk people. Unless he read or heard about it, the only way he would "find" gay marriage is by actually forming it.
Game itself not so great. Protagonist blatantly blank. Morrowind at least described this as part of prophecy. Weird interface. Repetitive tasks, which furthermore simplified by compass. "Sweet loot" in this game literally bear ****...
And when game let you be Monthy Python Lumberjack... It was the straw that broke the camel's back, imo. ----------------- I am glad, that I found mentions about all that marriage stuff after finishing the game. Practically, I will never start Skyrim again. Personally, I don't care about this "stuff", but WHY put this in a game?

In Skyrim too, you're part of the prophecy and the one to save the whole world etc. I don't see a big difference. Well except in Morrowind you didn't have to save the whole world, more like Vvardenfell to begin with. Saving the world only got the main objective since Oblivion...
Weird interface.
Yeah, that's because it's made to work well for consoles too. Actually I got used pretty fast to this interface, although I'm using the PC. Don't see what's so horrible about it. Oblivion's interface, this was horrible. Morrowind had it good.
Repetitive tasks,
Better than no tasks at all after finishing all quests..
And why should the marriage thing bother you? You could just ignore it..

Just a few moments ago, I had my first encounter with the Headless Horseman while riding on the road at night.. I'm never using short-travel again
Geez everyone this is a forum to discuss Skyrim, not to diss it. If you don't like it, get out!
Why? This topic just "Skyrim", not "Post, how awesome it is". All things have pros and cons.

Difference that in Morrowind main quest based around finding missing parts, learning different opinions about prophecy, and all game based around "yes, maybe you Chosen one. But what, if not?" Skyrim just throw it in the face:"You are the chosen one, go kill dragons". Like a bone for the dog.

Only for consoles. Honestly, it is not an interface for pc game. 3 clicks for checking illness, then another 3 to finding "cure disease potion" - and it is only if you don't have 2-3 screens of potions... In Morrowind - right click as soon as you got red square, 1 click for "otion" filter, hover over items, drag and drop potion. Feel the difference.
Oblivion's interface, this was horrible. Morrowind had it good.
