got another question, when you level up on a certain skill say one handed does anything get better just for reaching a certain level not upgrading like a perk for it

The efficiency of the skill, say, you'll do a bit more damage with one-handed weapons, or slightly stronger potions, or you'll get detected slightly less, etc.
I'm not sure but I think the developers said once or even several times they won't make a TES MMO, and I hope they'll stick to this opinion. This would only ruin the series I think..
Anyway there were rumors going around that TES:V was going to be in Sumerset Isles, and look at what it became really those 'rumors' are just what certain people want the series to be, not what the developers want it to be.
Here is a link to rock paper shotgun and they claim that it is confirmed by more then one person and that they have the site name Elderscrollsonline. I kind of want to believe but then again not frankly because I don't like MMO anymore and I would rather have a single player TES.
Anyone agree that Oblivion had a better story line and was longer??
It's possible that it's longer, but.. better story line? Really? I think Oblivion had a much crappier unoriginal storyline, whereas in Skyrim, although it's true that you're kinda rushed into that Dragonborn business and propulsed towards the boss fight, it still has more style. But the best storyline ever was even before, in Morrowind. Haven't found anything quite like it yet.
Play the Fallout games. Problem solved, and we don't have to ruin the Elder Scrolls atmosphere^^ No, really, a friend who played both Fallout 3 and Skyrim said they're pretty much the same, simply with different settings.

indeed, it's for this same reason i started to dislike assassins creed for the 1st time. having a gun makes it realy lame and get's it away from the main atmosphere. luckly bethesda is smart enoufg to not do this. well... i guess so, because they are also smart enoufg that this game should be a single player and not a multi player game.
well i got deadric smithing but i can't make the "bladesword" that a friend was telling me about any ideas?
Well it does exist but can't be crafted. It is under the steel category do you can upgrade it with steel ingots. You can find it in Sky Haven Temple! Delphine's secret room, and followers who join the Blades, Delphine and Esbern carry them.
