I will state that the world's biggest problem is elf porn. This is a very problamatic situation that many of Santa's elves are plunged into. When Christmas time rolls by and becomes mid-June, something's gotta pay Santa's bills! And that sicko uses his own elves, who trusted him, to make amateur films of them sticking their hands in each other's cookie jars. Rally up now and you will receive a complementary t-shirt, buttloads of random mail in your mailbox, and three staples! Join F.A.E.P. (Fight Against Elf Porn) now!

First I think the worlds biggest problem is that people tend to have problems that lead to multiple bigger prolems.
Ex: greed. Always starts problems, wheather on small and large scale.

second,

Sorry for the double post, but YES, you can have a hobby of not having a hobby. Being inactive can be a hobby, if you believe it is. Everything is true, if one believes it is. You cannot say it's NOT a hobby, because they pass the time by not having a hobby. And by repetitive reasoning, circular thinking, and ALOT of typing, I shall drive this into your mind. If yuo believe something is true, with your heart and your soul, who is to tell you it isn't true? If it's not a lie, and you eblieve it's the truth -- it is.

A man with schizophrenia can belive he has a talking sock monkey chasing him. He belives it is, but it's not. And atheism isn't a religon. To be atheist you just need lack of belife in a deity. So you can hve buddaist atheist, vodou atheists, ect... But the onlt requirement is lack of deity.

If atheism is listed with christianity, and islam, or whatever, therefore it is a belief, a religion. The religion of nonreligion.

Yes, and nomusic is music, and nogame is a game, and nofood is a food type, and nocapitalism is capitalism, and noabortion is an abortion.

Okay, now you are just trolling.

I will state that the world's biggest problem is elf porn.

Lol.

Sadly, I have no idea what bigoted means

Actually, you are being one right now and you probably don't know it.

Our entire global economic system. The downfall of humanity will be result of economies. The economic system is based on perpetual growth, and this is simply not sustainable.

Really the worlds biggest problem is...wait for it....US!!! For every good thing we do to help the planet/other people we cancel it out by screwing with something else. Like the oil spill in the Gulf that destroyed the ecosystem's natural balance beyond repair. But yes bigfatkitty, every bad thing that happens anywhere can be traced back to greed and the overwhelming number of morons who dont care.

All of you folks calling America the worlds biggest problem have to realize that if America falls, some other nation will simply step in and fill the vacuum. Despite the failings of America, think about some of the previous empires of the world. Were things any better under the British empire? How about Rome? All empires eventually fall, but will whatever rises out of the ashes be a worse evil?

Moral growth has only been going up - any power vacuum would hopefully result in it staying that way.

The British Empire, youch. In terms of quality of life (for British people, relative to general standards), definitely better. In terms of morality (#1 priority), certainly not.
Hey, British East India Company. :/

This is a bit of a stretch, and it's hypothetical, but given how moral growth has always been going up and up - what would've happened if the Brits were still rulers? Would things be better now?

The wealth was astonishing, the only thing I'm thinking of is the commonwealth countries. O.o

Exactly. Of course, there are SOME good people...

Good people?
How would you decide who is good, though? Would it be by cultural standards, cultural responsibility, "absolute" standards?

Unfortunately, we seem to be blind.

Indeed.

Good people is a rare occurance, in terms of absolute standards. In my opinion anyway.
I say "rare", but I honestly think there are so few people meeting that critera, I've met no one matching it.
But - this is philosophy, and as such it can't be proven / disproven. My opinion only ^^

War and Debt.
If people wouldn't get selfish or do stupid things then millions of people wouldn't have died in battle and there would be no MIA or POW camps
Also if governments would be forgiving (remember the Golden Rule) then the world economy would be better.

China exports a lot of stuff, Britain doesn't.
... Forgiving? I think you mean generous, but I don't think people would be so happy with helping out another country from the good of thier hearts.

Personally I would say greed and oil and, which go hand in hand. I'll add water too.

Greed certainly caused the corruption of many nations or groups in both Modern and past. Oil because of how much our lives depend on it, the mass production of food and crops. The depletion of oil is being caused by the greed of oil companies and exploitation and personally i think some of the conflicts were caused by oil. Certainly when oil runs out, there is a grave future we are looking at.

Water is of course a problem, you can't live without water right? Contamination of water will be a huge problem.

Take a guess, it's the stupid one whose name begins with "H"...

Something that begins with an h..... Hmmmmmm.... could it be HUMANS!

Oh, I thought this question was referring to what is the humans biggest problem... But then again humans biggest problem could be itself if that's what you are saying.
