In this thread I will be posting a new movie every Sunday. Before posting in this thread, I advise you to watch the movie. If you've already watched the move in the past, feel free to talk about it. We will talk about the movie. May it be about the storyline, the characters, the actors, etc.. You may also post your critique of the movie here.
For each movie I'll be posting a link to IMDb where you'll get a small description of the movie. I'll also be posting my own little description and critique of the movie.
As for the movies, they will be random. By that, I mean there is no certain genre I will stick with and these movies will be new and old.
I'll take recommendations for movies, but not in this thread. Leave a comment on my profile if you would like to recommend a movie.
One of my favorite movies. My only problem with it was that they kind of went a little overboard making up all these rules about how the dreams work but it was still amazing.
Inception was really good and as for the ending I think it was real life because in the last second of the movie you could see token start to waver and lose speed
Yay this movie is really nice. Dicaprio play once more a tormented man. The end is too long for me, I get bored when the dream in the snow begin...
What do you guys think about the ending? Was he in a dream or in real life? Personally I think that he was in a dream.
Hum if you think like that, there are 2 other times during the movie where you can think he's already dreaming (I don't remember exactly when sorry) because the totem he uses is the one of his wife... But for me, he was not dreaming =P
inception was too confusing for me. i never finished because it was confusing and frankly, i don't really like Leonardo DiCaprio in his movies except probably Titanic.
I have such a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio >.> So unfounded. Yes, he played an excellent role in this film. The concept was mindblowing and the way some of the scenes were portayed was simply outstanding.
I agree with Scott though, the ending is pretty played out.
Source Code is a nice action/mystery film. When soldier Captain Colter Stevens wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of an experimental government program called the SOURCE CODE that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life. Armed with the task of identifying the bomber of a Chicago commuter train, Colter must re-live the incident over and over again, gathering clues until he can solve the mystery and prevent an even deadlier second terrorist attack.
To be honest I have not seen this movie only because I don't think it would be that good.
Colter must re-live the incident over and over again
Wouldn't it get old watching the same thing over and over again? I just don't see how they could change something that already happened so it would be like watching the same scene over and over again.
i thought it was awesome but a little confusing when they could make differnt realities out of project source code like how iit was fine in some dementions and bad in others i dont like how it had a happy ending though that kind of movie sohould have a sad twist or a ananswered cliff hanger
After the death of one of their own, a group of former superheroes forced into retirement by the government returns to action, discovering a sinister plot as the planet edges closer to a nuclear war between the world's powers.
Watchmen is in my top 5 movies. Rorschach's journal entries were hilarious. I watched the movie before I started reading the graphic novels and I must say there were a few changes between the book the movie. It still sucks that Rorschach died, Dr. M. is such hax though.
