Last thing I heard, the the groups that on the other side over there have bigger loses than the U.S., Britain, Germany, and France.
But I think it's time we pull out of there. We already wasted so many years hunting a man we didn't even go over there for, then we got the guy we did go over there for. And there isn't going to be an end in sight for a very long time. I see liberating the middle east as a lost cause, in a way.

the war is a joke. It really shouldn't be going on right now. Who cares how the middle east screw themselves over??? America shouldn't get involved when the common people there don't want them. Look at the link Emp posted and go under the section labeled International Security Assistance Force. Definitely not a lot have died since they fall under other and that total reaches about 284 as opposed to the U.S.'s 1,719.

But you said that the U.S. was getting their butts kicked when clearly that's not the case, proven by the works of EmperorPalpatine. And casualties do matter because you can't fight a war where weapons are being fired without an army. Nations with those mindsets are wasteful.
You also need to count how many afghan notional army dying to, since they allied with Us and europa.
There's about 10000 Afghan forces dead. Considering that the Taliban (and other forces helping them) was only about 80,000 strong and about 38000 are dead (including some of their top leaders), we're making progress.
