They could tax it and get money, but marijuana is almost as bad as cigarettes and it will cause more people to go to the hospital for lung cancer, etc, which will cost a lot more money to mantain it and help all the people out. So I think they should keep it illegal.
But it's not like it will affect the majority. There are kids who drink, and if legalized kids will smoke. You can't stop the drinking ones and you can't stop the smoking ones. But the ones smoking will be harmed less.
No, the difference now is kids smoke pot but it isn't always readily available. Sometimes there's weed droughts and the citys potless for a while. If it's legal and available everywhere, more kids might get into it. And more adults.
The problem with an age limit on pot is the same with alcohol - the fact it would be legal/ widely available to the population, younger kinds could get hold of it very easily - if they had a sibling above the minimum age: or people dealing it to kids for a higher price.

The thing with marijuana is it's a plant. the same people who grow it illegally now, will continue to do so. It just makes it safer, because marijuana with bacteria, or fungus, or something of that nature, will no be put on shelves, so you know what your getting when you buy.

I'm not on about the health, i'm on about addiction. I know alcohol, cigs and weed are bad for you. But you don't want to introduce a legal addiction to kids like.

No, if you really need them for medical purposes then go ahead.. but usually you would become addicted to them when taking it for medical purposes, i just think you dont need to do a drug to make you feel better.. other things can make you feel better.. my life sucked as a little kid and even now im struggling but that doesnt mean i should take drugs so I can screw up my life even more, it might make you feel better now.. but in the end you will realize that you screwed up by taking drugs.. my birth mom did drugs and she didnt fight for her kids because she wanted the drugs more then her own child. you can get addicted to anything.. and Marijuana is one of them so sorry its not BS cause people do get addicted to it when they use it for medical use im not saying it happens all the time but it does happen

You're saying that all that with your mom was just because she was smoking pot? I doubt it was from the marijuana...she was probably doing harder drugs, or even alcohol. As far as affecting peoples' personalities go, alcohol is a whole lot worse than marijuana.
