People always say that if you're an atheist, you're going to hell. This got me thinking. Why (if he exists) would he send me to an eternity of suffering in a fiery hole of despair? Doing this horrifying act just because I don't believe he exists. There was no evidence to support the fact he exists. I never did anything terribly wrong compared to the next guy. If god is real in this manner, he is a evil villianous character sending me to an eternity of suffering worse than death itself.

i should explain that more. a religion is a religion. a religion is not a human. it can't be racist because we don't talk about humans here. we talk about a religion.
Clearly the point of this went over your head. To truly proove Universal Gravity, you'd have to go to every point in the universe and test to see if there was gravity. Can we do this practically, if at all? No, so we take what we know (Gravity on the Earth, Moon, and generally in our Solar System, and assume that it must apply to the rest of the universe.
Since all observable evidence indicates this we can be reasonable certain without doing so. Of course there is room that we could be wrong, this is why a theory has to remain falsifiable to give room for correction.
And calling me an idiot serves nothing to further your points. Rather, it gives you some measure of arrogance in your own beliefs. The same goes for your picture.
I call you an idiot because you have seen enough of these debates that you should know better then to use the arguments that your using.
As for the pic it's completely justified given your arguments against atheism, the Big Bang, abiogenesis and evolution are all straw man arguments that don't address any of the real points they make. Again given how many times the correct definitions of each of these has been brought forth on here and how many times you have participated in such threads you would have to be either a complete idiot or completely dishonest.
1. This looks offtopic. 2. The science nerds are ignoring the scientific discussion, using ad hominem and trying to argue with a whole 'nother paradigm than their own. 3. The internet. Why the heck try so hard proving others wrong when you all know it helps nothing. Keep it bloody friendly, or go read the Bible/Origin of the Species/Harry Potter.
On this topic, before I am locking it because none of you deserve to use this thread anymore: Christians believe what they do. It is their God. The only way this actually affects an Atheist is when these arguments happen, some extremist can't shut up or tries to convert an Atheist, or if Christians turn out to be right. This also points to another most wonderful thing: Atheists don't care that God might hate them, since they don't believe in God. They don't care. And Christians shouldn't care either, because Atheists obviously doesn't want to be saved from Hell, which, as is, is only true to Christians.
Not to mention Christ told Christians to not judge other people. I will stick to that and ignore all other "But God said that..." because you are still bloody judging others, and at least be a moral human being and stop embarrassing yourself. Likewise, Atheists, try and actually show you don't need religion to have a moral, and that you might actually be smart enough to put science in your mouth, because otherwise you are going to be embarrassing as well.
