I have asked this question many times and never gotten an answer. Is it considered a Sin if a soldier kills a terrorist. As the terrorists are following there religion, when preforming sucide bombings or so I'm told. I would like to know the answer to this question, as I am a Christian and hope to be a soldier when I'm 18. But overall people who kill the enemy are just soldiers who are following orders.
sorry for double. i also want to point out that they were actually punished so yes it was a sin XD. idk alot about the christian belief but i know as a jew that most of the times (i say most because i dont know everything but from what i know its pretty much always) everyone were punished for killing.

I couldn't help myself from laughter from this. Their religion has nothing to do with suicide bombing, that's like saying that the Bible tells priests to molest children (Yes they do this, my sources are messed up today, I'll share as soon as I find it). It's just... Racist to say the least.
Yes, I do believe it's a sin, but if your family member's lives are being threatened, I highly doubt you would just stand there because 'killing people is bad'. You would do anything to save them, even killing.

Actually....religion can be used as a tool to warp their minds and give their activities a more sacred overtone. It's not all rubbish or racist, all religions have been used to a certain degree in giving killing a divine sanction.

Although that's what most people would do, you're supposed to stay nonviolent. If your family is murdered, you should pray for them and pray for their killer.

Wow... Seriously? So, your entire family gets massacred in the bloodiest, and most inhumane way, you should pray to the man who did that? I'm sorry, but I find that very, very stupid

In a religious way, yes. You shouldn't seek revenge; you should pray that man would realize his wrong and confess, and pray that he would 'convert' (at least, that's the way it usually works).
Provided he gave you enough time to pray before he ran his sword through you.
The people still alive who were 'acquainted' with those who died in the shooting said that they forgave the shooter. Most other Christians would be like ':OOOOOOO WHYYYY?'
Strange thing isn't it religion? Then again, Christianity has so many sub branches that differ from each other that we can't except them all to have the same central doctrine other than the fact that they all worship Christ.

well it changes in different religions. so unless you speak as a religios person you cant really say that.
not being racist but what is your religion then?
i know that in judaism it wouldnt be a sin and im pretty sure its not a sin in islam to... so are you speaking as a christian?
How I hate the word racist...no one knows what it means anymore. It seems like everyone thinks that as soon as they talk bad about something it's immidiately racists.
1) You can't be racist about religion, only, well, races. 2) It's not racist to disagree with someone or ask a question relating to their race. 3) It's not racist to insult someone of a certain race, only to insult the entire race in general.
Also, I believe EmperorPalpatine is Christian but I'm not 100% sure.
