I have just watched the news and greece might be declaring war. you know what this means. France and Germany would go to war with italy and greece and it would be world war ll all over again. tell me you thoughts and opinions and feel free to express them
I hardly doubt the Greece has a military force that would require the help of allies, and it is far more likely that economic sanctions from the EU and UN would crush any thoughts of war that Greece may be fantasizing about.
In my opinion I don't even know why people are thinking about "World War 3". Just because there was a WW1 and a WW 2, doesn't mean theres going to be a WW3.

I have a feeling that if that there were a world war 3, it would more likely be started by the arab nations of the middle east than a country that is near broke. Considering that there is now basically a Muslim super-nation forming there from all the uprisings, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a world war start there.

Sorry for the off-topicness, but these revolutions are not necessarily ushering in a large, Muslim dominant governments, but more of the Western democracy we enjoy today.
Regardless of their current status it wouldn't be difficult for conservative Muslims to infiltrate and establish Sharia Law. It is however doubtful when you consider the amount of money OPEC makes through what little of the oil market they control and the lack of other natural resources available in the Middle East, instigating a war against their major trading partners would be illogical and foolish.

Pan-Arabism has been around for years, since the days of Nasser. Such dreams have already been quashed seeing how divided the Arab world is. And we aren't even talking about the Shia-dominated Iranians yet.

Why is everyone debating about the plausibility of whether Greece will win the war when it is clear to anyone with an ounce of logic that it will never happen? Economic pressures are more than enough to choke the Greeks into austerity cuts.
