We all know that global warming is when the sun rays get trapped underneath the excess carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases, causing the sun rays to bounce back off it and stay in earth causing the temperature to rise. What do you think about it? Do you think that it is real? Or just a media hype?

Hope this covers all of your points. Anything else?

That replies to pretty all points, yes. I simply don't totally agree that we could live with only modified organisms, living with our own 'ersonal' modified micro nature. From a biologic point of view, I don't see that coming... or then, I don't want to imagine what a live that might be.

But, anyway, this is up to speculation and stuff, so, I think that's it. ^^

That's how its gonna be. The government isn't doing much to change stuff. Therefore that's the future you can count in for your future kids when they grow up if you have any...

It depends on whether you care about nature or not...

Why do people care? They'll be dead by then anyway...

Who cares? We'll be dead by then anyway...

I already knew that.

Knew that too...

if you don't care and you know it all already. why did you start arguing this?

I love the destroyed planet. It is beautiful to wake up one morning and breathe in the lovely CO2 pollution. *deep breath* *satisfied sigh*.

the planet isn't destroyed YET.
enjoy the tall infrastructures and the beatiful skyscrapers and cars that are causing this beautiful planet! Yeah!

have you ever been outside a city? or are you always stuck behind your comp.?

Plus I'm not planning on having any kids, so I couldn't care less about future generations decades or even centuries down the line...

i'm not having kids either and i can be very cold blooded aswell but i'm not planning to destroy the world as we know it.
i did have a period when i was young i thought the same as you. (almost i didn't love destroying) i didn't care a single bit about nature and all that BS.
then i actualy learned about it, and had to change direction.

hey'll be alright. With their genetically modified food and their genetically enhanced plants and livestock; temperature change isn't gonna result in many death except poverous people which are gonna die of cholera or famine anyway. The main way to tackle that would be to use charities to help them, lest they die.

your forgeting 1 thing, whitout the ozon we are not protected from the sun and we will all die soon from radioactivity. or 1 of many other ways it will kill all life. (but you wont care do you.)

only thing i got left to say in this topic, is that i find it prety ignored to know it all but not care about it. but you will probably see that as a good thing somehow. prety twisted but w/e i hope you have more sense in other topics then this. i'm looking forward to see.

It's a debate, therefore I debate whether it matters about global warming or not and I pick the side of no...
the planet isn't destroyed YET.
Precisely, so why do I care...?

I'm not planning to destroy the world, more or less I'm sitting back and allowing humankind to do it without caring about it... I don't need any more stress in my life; I go to college, you know...

Good for you. I opinionate different from you, but I digress...

No I don't. You get UV Radiation. But X-ray and Gamma are absorbed by the atmosphere not the ozone layer and they are more harmful than UV which simply increases the risk of skin cancer... Plus I don't care because it is holy in Australia, not England...

then come whit arguments why no.
don't just say "who cares?" and "i know".
"who cares" is not a good point for debating.

like that.

i c you still got a life ahead in wich you have to learn what is importend. and tbh, college aint hard a full time job is much more stressfull.

Plus I don't care because it is holy in Australia

just what i thought, you not caring.
so no reason to argue/debate whit you.

It kinda is. I mean who does care, really? I mean it is not of paramount importance to change our lifestyles right now... When we reach the brink of a crisis, then things can be done, but by then this generation'll be dead anyway. Therefore, who cares? For I do not...

Don't be an idiot. College is stressful because you have to learn incredibly difficult things that are far removed from GCSEs. A full time job you get used to because you're doing the same thing all the time, whereas full time education on the other hand, is learning new stuff and therefore it is a lot more stressful than a **** job is...
just what i thought, you not caring.

You could debate the reasons why you should care. Hence the creationism of debating. I don't think that you've fully grasped the reasons for debating. Just how to do it.

Yes it is.

When we reach the brink of a crisis, then things can be done

Thats like waiting until your cancer is at the worst possible before taking it out. It's rediculous and only makes it harder to recover, if not impossible.

FAKE AND GAY!!!!!

Just kidding. I personally do not believe in global warming. It seems like another theory that sounds possible, but is not really happening. I think people used to think there was global cooling in the 50s and 60s...

Yes it is.
No it isn't because we're not in any immediate danger. Therefore it is not in the essence of paramount importance that we have to change our lifestyle right now! So leave it to future generation, eh? Not our problem...

And then future generations are screwed not yours. You win as part of the human race's current generation...

It is happening. I'm saying that it doesn't matter and whether or not if you believe if humans are the cause of it or if it is natural or possibly both. Obviously it's getting warmer, the climate graphs state that and why'd they make that up for if they've got no reason to do so...?

Then you my friend are either ignorant or in denial. We have quite clear figures that show the world is on average warmer than it was 50 years ago.

Not our problem...

If you want to be a selfish person yes, it's not your problem. However, you should care that what actions you are doing will affect the lives of generations to come and should try to make it better for them, not worse and say, "I'll never meet them."

Global Warming is real, because the earth has warmed a few degrees Fahrenheit in the past few decades. However, this isn't 100% humanity's fault.

Ice core samples have shown that the earth goes through 'hases', such as an ice age, then a very warm age, which we are increasingly entering in to. Its like a climate tug-and-pull session. Sometimes its ridiculously cold, others ridiculously warm, for tens of thousand of years at a time.

So technically, this isn't our fault. However, we are definitely speeding the process up. So if we were to work on our CFC emissions, we would slow the process, but not stop it.

I would give sources, but I was taught that.
