Now on to one of the sub questions. Is it natural? Well, someone mentioned that it wasn't natural only for humans. Now, why this discrimination? If the Gods of various religions keep throwing and creating people who are homosexual, either a) They're bad factory operators or b) Something is fishy with whatever anti-gay talk religious conservatives swear is sacred.
[quoteas]long those guys are not in a gay bar... that will never happen. maybe as a joke. but not seriusly.[/quote] Perhaps throwing themselves at them was the wrong phrasing. Coming on to them is probably better. Either way its the straight guys who blow things out of proportion when gays are involved.
And I'm not homophobic as long as they stay away I'm fine.
That is the equivalent of saying that you're not racist as long as anyone who differs in skin colour stays away from you.
So what if someone who is gay approached you? Would you suddenly become homophobic? Is there a certain distance they would need to be from you for this to happen or is it if they happen in your field of vision?
do you have some super censor device thats shows who is gay and who not?
Perhaps we could make it easier for him to spot them. Maybe if we insisted that every gay person had some sort of recognisable symbol, like maybe an armband... or perhaps a patch sewn onto their clothing with a shape on it.
If that didn't work, maybe we could insist every gay person registers at some sort of booth where we could tattoo a number onto their wrist or forearm. He could identify them from a mile off then.
Actually, that's all a little unreasonable, after all, we're now inconveniencing him having to recognise all those pesky symbols and numbers... so maybe if we herded all the homosexual individuals into specially set up camps... but then those camps would be expensive... so maybe...

I am going to object with this continuation of reasoning. Please, make fun of this guy as much as you want, however leave the Holocaust out of it. I know that you are not meaning to offend anyone, but also recognise that homosexuals were also killed indiscriminantly during WWII, so out of respect to them and all other victims, please refrain from making such volatile statements. Am I saying this because I am Jewish? Perhaps, but also just keep the conversation on a respectful level, and certainly do not lower yourself to the likes of gay-bashers.

It isn't a continuation of reasoning or even making fun of the guy, it is holding a light up to prejudice, showing what happens when prejudice goes too far.
He only becomes homophobic when someone gay approaches him, or at least that is how he has put it forward, which I'd classify as prejudice. So I was highlighting it at the worst case scenario of prejudice.
Wasn't meant to be offensive or disrespectful, it was meant as a fluorescent marker to indicating it is okay if someone is gay as long as they come nowhere near you, as if it is some sort of disease.
I haven't been on this thread in a while, but based on these quotes:
Do I like them? No Would I hang around them?No Do I think it's natural? I don't care what religion you follow, none are pro-homosexuality. Men and women were made to produce and clearly a guy and guy(or girl and girl) cannot reproduce. I think some people just act gay for attention sometimes, I mean It's nothing special and it's not normal and that's why they like to be gay.
And I'm not homophobic as long as they stay away I'm fine.
I'm guessing I haven't missed much.
Let me just say first that I do not have a problem with gay people, but occasionally they get more than annoying.
that is what he claims, but what he posted afterward was extremely hypocritical, uninformed, and intolerant. I'd be railing on this in a heartbeat, but I'm not because this guy is obviously new to the political forum, and doesn't have any real idea what he is talking about. how sad.

I understand you were trying to be satirical, but because of the fact that you typed it instead of spoke it, we could've never caught the sarcasm of the comment.
so in closing, I tell you that homosexuality isn't chosen, and we shouldn't treat them like lepers in roman times. it just goes against human rights if we do that today.
I apologize for my son's recent post. I left work and forgot that I left my laptop on and my son stayed home from school today. By all means I have no problems at all with homosexuals or anything of the sort. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.. just came on to see a post from my account that wasn't from myself.
And I am not ignorant nor is my son. He's a teenager and I'm positive that teenage boys tend to get awkward with homosexuality topics.
Well for those Christians out there who take issue with gay, why? They are there to help you. Why recently we had gay scientists isolate the Christian gene and are working on removing it so people don't have to be born Christian ever again. Of course there are some rejections to this claiming Christianity is a lifestyle and thus perfectly natural.
Your comment got deleted for being too short and it was flagged as spam. Now will you care to explain?
First off, I(myself) never posted anything before my previous comment, second.. I don't see any post from me about that and if you have proof I'd love to see it.

Oh, no, it was your son that posted the comment. Nevermind. And teenagers don't tend to get awkward with homosexuality topics, seeing as I am one. (Teenager)
Did I say all teenagers? No. I said teenagers tend to be awkward with it. I'm pretty sure since I'm a father of 2 sons all in High-School, I know more about the teenager experience. I was once one and my sons tell me about a transvestite in their school.
