So, uh, yeah, the title pretty much says it. Lots of topics turn into religion debates, so this is meant for that. Mine is Atheist. Feel free to oppose, but I'll oppose your post, too.

Oh, right, so He speaks in a physical voice to every person praying in the universe. Global panic. Voices talking in midair. I think that may have something to do with it.

Why? If you are so sure that literal random chance is god, then why not something like a mystical voice coming from nowhere be identifiable using Yahweh's literal infinite power? If he can tell you what you want to know threw dice throws, and apparently then say "This is me telling you", then wouldn't that be simpler with a mystical voice?

Can you picture what would happen if people started hearing voices in midair? And other people hearing those voices? Like I said before, global panic.

Seems like a major flaw in God then. If his creations panic at the sound of his voice something is wrong.

No, it'd probably be more along the lines of global enlightenment. If solid proof was given for the existence of God/a supernatural being, that would stop all arguments about religion, all fights caused by it, and everyone would strive to do what that god commanded if he in fact did make the universe and knows what is best.

Why would they, if they had that "feeling deep in their heart", that you have? Or did you panick in your last example? "HOOOOOOLY SHIZUS! I ACTUALLY GOT THE ANSWER AAAWW!"? Why not? If you believe that that was actually god talking to you, then why the hell wouldn't it be ok on the mass scale? Why would talking be so much different?

Everyone would panic, because most people don't believe in God.

So? Would you begin to panic if you found out that your little messages where real, but delivered by Baal?

I think somewhere around 60-70% of the world believes in the Abrahamic God.

That's not most. And I, and everyone who I've ever met who does not believe in a god, would not panic. In fact, it would be very nice to know one way or the other 100% whether or not God exists/does not.

yes, because baal is an idol, not real. I would be very scared if baal started talking to me.

Most people in the world believe some sort of god exists. Getting conformation of this would result in panic. Even for those who don't many just want evidence to back up such claims. Providing it would result in panic with them either.

How many people do you hear of that their life has changed when they believe in baal? In older days, people were sacrificing babies to baal. baal would be a god of terror, then.

I have never even heard of Baal outside of Diablo 2. So, none.

@jake297- I suggest you quit while you are ahead, you are not going to win, and most of your answers have been either the runaround, some ignorant comment, or a piece of pathos rhetoric that we cannot prove because we weren't there to witness it. you have no proof to back your claims except a false book, and a bunch of emotions that can easily be manipulated.

Did they? The Romans thought that Christians where sacrificing babies. Something about bringing in a sac about the size of an infant, not allowing outsiders into the ceremony, and then talking about eating flesh and drinking blood does that.

People don't believe in Baal anymore, so only a few. But what if Baal was still a religion? Then it have the same results. Does this make Buddha or Vishnu or Allah or Yawheh any more real than him, or each other?

Really got to get back to work now.
