So, uh, yeah, the title pretty much says it. Lots of topics turn into religion debates, so this is meant for that. Mine is Atheist. Feel free to oppose, but I'll oppose your post, too.

Ba'al is an Egyptian mythological God, Kasic. With as much evidence and support as Jake's own God but ironically the deity used to support his own argument.

There is no proof for your God, but if you want to argue on the level of "God of Terror", then I'd wager you didn't pay attention to The Crusades.

You know, those religiously-sanctioned military forwardings that killed thousands (easily more) people, you know... in the name of your God?
He didn't even have to say anything for people to start killing and invading in his name. Well -- you'd probably disapprove, but he didn't do a mighty fine job at pointing that out for himself and his "divine" powers.

It was easily at the point where a baseless voice would've been far more constructive to the conflicts than steel and paintings portraying Saladin as the devil.

Does this make Buddha or Vishnu or Allah or Yawheh any more real than him, or each other?

To be fair Buddha is slightly more real than the others.

I know that. I've just never heard anyone talking about him outside of D2.

The Buddha isn't really a deity though.

I blame you for misleading me, then. Hehe.

No, not really. It would be like saying Pope Sylvester I was more real than Moses. (The one who parted the Red Sea and the like)

I only pointed it out because Buddha was listed with deities even though Buddha is/was a real person.

he is considered that because he made the religion, and he never really specified if there was a deity or not.
