finally a smart decision. people, have you ever seen what happens with meat if you put it in the freezer? zombies are meat on bones. they would freeze and could not move anymore.
If you're semi-close range (10-25 feet) I'd go with a flame thrower, but a sniper would be good for picking off the ones further away, or a occasional bazooka shot...
Melee: Crowbar- Not only it is strong and can beat their brains, the most important part of the zombies. Also, you can open up crates, rip up wood, and hammer on nails to construct a shelter.
Gun: M16 with a silencer- easy to obtain, standard gun in the army
Explosives: If ever necessary, I would use a molotov cocktail. It is extremely easy to make, and a great aid in an army of zombies, just to play keep away. Of course, flaming zombies are worse than normal zombies; however, in this case, time would be a great ally (unless the zombie was full of fat.
Then again an ACR it's all purpose can change it's barrel size to chance between .45 .56 and .72 depending on the type of ammo you have doesn;t jam either and can be customized by almost any part. sorry for double post.

You don't have to worry about ammo and it's efficient, although it wouldn't be "great" for mass swarms of zombies out in the open (but then, if you're out in the open and completely surrounded with no way out you're dead anyways).
Because if someone saw a gun laying on the ground they would leave it for the next person

i thought we talk about real weapons. real weapons that you can get easily because you have them at your home. but if we talk about fictional weapons i say a force-field around me protects me while i shoot laser rays out of my eyes to let their heads explode.
