Well we are only one part of the solar system,so their is probably some sort of life out there.

WEll lil buddy, if you look at the sky you see black right? well that black is endless and has many planets, of course were not alone. Master chief is prolly in hibernation being chased by the covenant headed straight to earth.

The black has as finite distance.

The things in the black do, but the black itself is infinite, unless you suggest some sort of wall or force field that stops you from going any farther.

Space between galaxies perhaps? seriously how desolate would that area be?

Your correct what we think of as our universe is finite. Even more so when we just look at the stuff making up galaxies. But there is still plenty enough out there for it to be statistically plausible for us to find extra terrestrial life.

I would imagine there is a copius amount of debris between galaxies.

from what? I would think that the galaxies act as gravity wells

The debris could be material that never really formed into anything, e.g. asteroids. And even though galaxies gravitational pull is great, there is the issue of black matter.

Black matter could simply exist as black galaxies, which would be a galaxy all the same.

I wondered if what if what we think of as an antiproton were truly the REAL proton? Electrons having positive charge and Protons having negative. And other beings made up of what we call antimatter thinking the exact same about us.

we are alone, and we will never ever meet another intelligent race from another planet, ever.
