I think that with the universe as unfathomably large as it is, it is ridiculous to think that we are on the only planet capable of supporting life. There is surely some other living thing out there, but as far as how advanced it is, who can say? It may be so simple as just some single-celled organisms

If you ask me, I too am sure there must be something else out there. Whether it's (by our standards) intelligent I can't say.

It is known and studied by psychiatrists that people like to believe in something more. People like to believe in the afterlife. People like to believe in aliens and U.F.O's and government conspiracies. Something more. Like many others, knowing this, I still do believe in something more and I cannot imagine something less.
Out of the Universe, after the Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Galaxy Clusters, we have the whole of our Universe. Yes, yes, there are actual "Clusters" of Galaxies. Now, many may think that there "has to be" something out there", but this incorrect. Mass relevance to intelligent life forms is not measured as such.
Knowing this, I still believe there is something out there. The sightings, the conspiracies, the cover ups. Even though I don't propagandize I still believe in such. Because I want to. No proof at all, except a bit. Scientists have studied life forms from other planets that are not intelligent. They are just bacteria, but this means evolution happened somewhere.

I think that, with the extensive universe and the universe being as unkown as it is, there very well could be alien. Eric Cartman, please don't try to be funny. Xgamer has the point that it would be on a different planet and it is possibly no different than ours, maybe even a scale replica of our earth either bigger or smaller.

Technaclly, depends on what you consider a alien, we have found alien life. Bacteria on mars and such planets exsit. Still it is very difficult to beileve with how big this universe is that we are the only intelligent life form.

Eric......not funny.......just stop.....

No. It is universally IMPOSSIBLE to be alone.

Yeah, it's not only arrogant, it's statistically improbable, if not impossible that we're alone.
There is WAY too much universe for us to logically be alone.

I agree
