I have always found this question interesting, but after thinking for a few minutes i come to the conclusion that there are no unmovable objects...

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

A friend did it last year and it took her 452, but some people at ASU got around 340, I think. It depends on the Tootsie Pop and Stuff.

I'd think it would depend on how big your licks are more than anything... people with massive tongues may be able to pull it off in a couple hundred licks!

But I don't know much about it since I crunch early on...

Really want this answered huh. Well, here comes a day from my fourth grade where I answered this all.

Factors which will affect how many licks it takes:

-Size of tongue
-Amount of spit
-Duration of lick
-How "hard" you lick it
-Temperature of tootsie pop (melting/frozen)
-Area which is being licked
-What is "one lick"
-How much of the center needs to be exposed

Depending on the answers to each of these questions, it could be one lick or thousands.
