The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

28. Yeah, it's working better and better. But I still miss the quests. There were not many unfinished ones left, but it challenges my OCD to not complete them :-)

I'm terribly sorry for the delay! Bad time/energy management, I hope you'll forgive. But I finally got around to check and validate the last count, update OP and scoreboard, and hand out merits like candy since it's this year's first Count ^^

As always, please let me know if I missed someone/something.

30. Thanks @Hahiha. I have OCD too @HalRazor; I have a hard time moving on and playing a different game when one of my games breaks.

34. Oh snap! Skater just got a merit! That used to be what, 50 points back in the old days? The years first count! If we can keep pace and through one every two months we can rack up six by the end of the year!

35. I'd honestly be shocked if we got to 6 counts this year, I think we can get like 3 or 4. People always come in and mess it up.

36. If we keep up this pace, we'll have all of 0 merits this year. The merit's for completing the *first* count of the year. You get a merit for your 1st and 10th win, though. If you didn't get two merits for this, I'd complain

I'm up to 17 now. Man. Funny seeing your name in newbie blue.

37. When I started on this site I was a kid in my tiny room gaming and posting on my laptop, now I'm in a parking lot waiting for my daughter to get done with karate. Oh how time passes! Can't remember the last time I used this site on a computer.

39. I always find it Interesting that people who are younger then(the same age, older…still applies) I am, are mature and responsible enough for children. I just turned 29 and just got my first big boy job a year ago, and it just blows my mind when I hear people speak of children! I can hardly afford rent and you guys are taking care of kids and somehow balancing all of that responsibility at once. Big probs to any parents in here, I can’t imagine. On a side note, I’m off to Saint Martin tomorrow! I have been traveling as much as I can, been to three countries in Europe, and a hand full between central/South America. I’d say expect some pictures soon, but I’m not sure you can post pictures here anymore…I’ll describe the beauty to you though, which will most likely just be “it was super pretty”

40. Honestly same, Skater. I turned 25 a few months ago and while I'm married with a great job and a dog, I can barely comprehend even financially having kids, at least in the USA, much less the responsibility of raising kids. And yet, I have childhood friends my age with 2, soon to be 3, kids, and it just completely baffles me, who's still trying to figure out the logistics of maybe getting a second dog.

41. I think, as someone who doesn't have kids or is educated at all in the subject, the thing about having kids is just to have one and it'll be alright. I mean, all these people who make just about nothing have like 5 of the little guys and they still have pants, teeth and whatnot. Now would I have a kid w/out planning it out? No, not at all, definitely not. But, if they can make it, why couldn't I?
