Okay, so now that the quest is kill Bandorang(I'm assuming the final boss), do I need to restart my game? I started another save file for Annie's fish, and for some reason, my quest progress is stuck on 19%. Either that, or can we just make the trigger stepping through the final portal or something.
@bakkart if you wear something that gives % exp, you can guarantee a full level up without having to kill anything. I believe the potion gives 99% exp or something.
To summarize:
Basically the old quest has been removed, and replaced with a new one.
Progress is messed up currently, and there is no way to tell how will they connect buggy progress with new requirements.
If the quest (kill Bandorang) triggers only once you kill it , I am afraid that all who have done that already will have to start game from the scratch! That would be rather disappointing!
If that is a case I would suggest that you place one more trigger at wizard portal as @randomblah mentioned. Thanks!
Hehe, it's not a matter about few extra hours, if there is no other solution, yeah we will have to play again from the scratch, but that would be more like punishment rather than reward. I would not like this to turn into some kind of trend. While others sit and relax , waiting for few to test and confirm, ect. ect. ... it gives strong recommendations for all to simply wait and play the game once they are 100% sure that everything will work properly.
@Tasselfoot seems the quest is still bugged.
I just killed only a minion (a "Fire Ghost" at the 2nd part of the cementery which triggered the last "Kill Bandorang" quest.
Assuming i reached 100% it triggered at %-progress, killing Bandorang is not needed.
Working on it. Boppins is on vacation this week, so might not get that aspect of things resolved until Monday. For those who have beaten the boss already, I have 2 solutions so you won't have to replay the game: 1. Something on the backend with boppins that I'll discuss with him and 2. I've asked Ant to put a trigger/submit when the save file is first loaded.
Am I just too stupid to solve the fried fish quest for Annie or is the game badly programmed? I have the requirements to finish the quest but Annie is always talking about her ring (see picture below)
Anyone else having this problem: If you give the crown (quest item for "Hunt for the Crown" to Claus (the tavern keeper), the main quest "Stolen Memories" starts and Annie will just talk about her ring and the "fried fish" quest will become unobtainable?
Does this mean I have to restart the game just to finish this quest?
@Andelhofs, tyvm. Quite an useful info. Was ready to wait in the boss doorstep for some time.
Then quest triggered, while I was looting stuff in first cemetery zone. Ooook.
Still going to end the game. Though it is quite boring. Really need to fasten battles - forget the animation, they are too slow. Archers with their habit to running across the map, waking up all monsters around, are annoing. Fact, that enemy archers can shoot through all the map not helping too. And experience grinding just does not exist comparing to experience bottles from alchemist. And ... no magic and magic stat to spend skillpoints, really?
8/8. Seven quests unlocked properly, Beat The Game aka Defeat the Bandorang triggered at the second or third area of the cemetery (aka quasi-100% completion). I haven't even seen the Bandorang.
EDIT: Also, forgot to mention this was a clean save/playthrough.
Same happens to me. This quest seems a bit broken but this game isn't that bad although it seems as it isn't even finished and we are playing a beta version of this game.
