yeah right, because that movie is showing the problems of teen pregnancy on a really realistic and serious level. i think you should extent your reaserch to some other sources than movies.
But imagine the physical and emotional pain the girl has to suffer.
Especially her outdoor life. She wouldn't get to go party or hang out with friends because of the baby. Also she would have to get a couple jobs to support it.

Back to the topic though. What is the problem with Teen Pregnancies? The Government has desided that people arent even responcible for their actions until the age of 18. You can't drink until you're 21 because you already make bad choices. Hotel and Car rental places don't trust anyone under the age of 25. So what age does one finnally have enough common sence to not be retarded?
The fact is, smart people don't have kids. This is not 100% true, but the recent studdies show that intelligent people are not repopulating. So Teen Pregnancies may be a GOOD thing in order to increase population. If everyone could control pregnancies 100% we would die off as a race.
I think this can all be solved by a saying: "If you don't have the balls to wear protection, then you don't have the manhood to do it in the first place."

That's one way to look at it, but I think once the population started to thin, intelligent people might find more benefits to having children. For instance, some people think that we are OVERpopulating, but might change their minds if there was a decrease in teen pregnancies.
No, no, no. I actually did an essay my freshman year in high school on this. I would put in here, but it's on my main computer and I don't feel like putting on a flash drive and transferring onto my laptop.
Plus, most teens DO NOT care about the consequences when going into something like this. Most of them don't care to take birth control (not their fault if they can't get their hands on it) or put on a condom, until they get someone knocked up or if they get knocked up. So the risk is TOO high in my opinion to even consider it. Just be happy with French kisses and then wait until you're 18 to get it on.
