Laziness is in the human nature we try to achieve our goals doing the less possible.
Obviously. Why would we waste resources and time to achieve the same thing?
Laziness is not the human nature, reasoning and logic is.
Because this aint capitalism. Government is helping those ******** keep their money. If the free-market did it's work, those guys would be out on the street. No bailouts for them. No government help for them. They screw up, they don't pay their workers, nobody buys their stuff.
Never heard of her, argue the point on hand. If you really used logic and mathematics rather than moral righteousness, you would have arrived at a different conclusion.
The biggest problem that has capitalism are cartels, if the government does not intervene at all the big companies do what they like and prices are higher so they can still compete with each other and having also higher profits. A free-market cannot work the government is needed.
Actually, the government can coincide with free markets. As long as they were there making sure the cartels did nothing illegal, an entrepreneur could easily sell products at a lower price and reap all the rewards. Government intervention has simply never worked very well.
As long as they were there making sure the cartels did nothing illegal
Now I agree, when the companies are not controlled the results are tragic for the economy. For example now the state has to give money/loans to save the economy, because the high officials were handing huge bonuses to each others and making stupid investments. The government is needed whether we like it or not.
OMFG LOLLLLL Amy reid is a pornstar I meant that other Russian girls whos grandpa was a kulak and so got f'ed over by Stalins dekulakization and so she started bitchin bout communism
But the state giving money to companies has hurt the economy, not helped it. Our recesion is necesary, it's meant to purge all the bad businessmen from our system, but good old Dubya has kept them all in and now our economy is stagnating.
But the state giving money to companies has hurt the economy, not helped it.
I agree. The companies created this mess and now the state has to save them with our money. All these incompetent and lazy gold boys have ruined the economy
bad businessmen from our system
The same thing that goes for communism goes for capitalism too, if you want those systems to work perfectly you need perfect persons who unfortunately do not exist.
OH. Ayn Rand. Yeah, I was a little WTF on that point.
I read one of her books, and felt mixed about it. I like the idea of people taking responsibilities for themselves, but I hate her belief that man can be perfect, and I hate the zealotry of her followers.
Even capitalism has downsides, but it's the only system we've thought of that can work while preserving liberty.
Man is not perfect, which is the argument against both Ayn Rand and Karl Marx
The state also did not have to save them with our money, if they had been allowed to fail, mid-sized companies would have taken their place and the economy would have bounced back.
if they had been allowed to fail, mid-sized companies would have taken their place and the economy would have bounced back
Correct, but we have always to consider the employees, when a companies fails thousands lose their jobs. When somebody is unemployed he can't spend money, so the other companies (which did not fail) earn less. So the system may fail again, cause when the buyers don't have money the producers don't too.
True, many would have lost jobs, but people would have saved, found new jobs with the uprising companies, who would be a little wiser with their money. You HAVE to allow a recession to happen naturally, trying to prevent it just prolongs it. Spending does not stimulate the economy, savings and innovation do.
