That's not real Socialism. Real Socialism calls for complete equality of wages.

Another problem with Socialism is that you give total control of the economy to the government. Once you give up a right, it is very hard to stop them. More and more rights will be lost. Next come the political rights. No more elections. Next come the social rights. For example, the Soviet Union immediately stopped all elections. Soon they were banning homosexuality, speech, religion, and other basic rights.
Finally Socialism is a Utopia, just like Communism or anarchy. It is a "quick fix." But it demands that everyone buys into the system. But if even 1-2% o the population rebels against the system, the system will fail because Socialism demands complete obedience.

Democratic Socialism is another utopia. Democracy while the government controls everything is not democratic in my opinion.
Well you gotta understand that socialism is only an idea. And ideas can be changed...so I don't like it when people refer to history to say that an idea doesn't work.
And Capitalism has lot of faults. If its not socialism that works out, I'm sure we can think of of some utopia that does.
Capitalism does have faults. But in the end, it's the system that works the best. The most free nations are all Capitalist. The most wealthy nations are Capitalist. The nations with the highest life expectancy and quality of life are all Capitalist.

Utopia is not a good thing to me. A Utopia is an ideal society. But everyone has their own ideals. Everyone is different. Anarchy would be my Utopia. No government, no rules, etc. But I know it doesn't work. It never will. Thus I am not an Anarchist in practice. Others see theocracy as the perfect Utopia. Others see Socialism, Communism, One-World Government, or Monarchy as a Utopia. Everyone has a different ideal. Utopias never work. That's why I support Capitalism. It is not a "erfect" ideal. It is based on human instinct. Yes, there are some bad apples out there. But in the end, Capitalism brings the most wealth to everyone.

Utopias don't work. Ever. Perfect societies will never work. Why? Everyone's idea of perfection is different. I explained it before, but you just can't seem to accept that people are all different.

Wrong... again. A Utopia is an ideal society. I'm not sure why you can't understand this. It has nothing to do with fairness or freedom. Some people's utopias might include fairness and freedom. But not everyones utopia.
And everyone's ideal society is different, which is why a utopia would never work. Many see a religious rule as the perfect utopia. Others see anarchy as the perfect society. These societies would lack all basic freedoms, rights, and privacy. Yet some see this as a utopia. Socialism is another utopia. It will not work, because not everyone is going to jump aboard the Socialist Boat.

How is capitalism not fair? Everyone has the opportunity to succeed in a capitalist society, to propel beyond the average man. It isn't fair to eradicate the ability for one to accomplish his or her own dreams, so that the lazy man can be equally benifited. Socialism only appeases to the faineant, and not to those who work for something better.
