They are pretty good, but not my favorite weapon on COD4...

They are so powerful and don't break you can run over them with a truck and they don get one scratch on them.

Actually, I think I like the XM8 better. It's adaptable, pretty reliable, lightweight, and is cost efficient(I think).

right first of all it made in germanny i done 2years in the russian army just so u know it was invented by russia made by ze germans

the Germans were slaves to build as an effect of post ww2 soviet occupation still the ak has been replaced as the main battle rifle for the Russian army by another ak version i think the 109 but it is still good and the m16 is almost as powerful as the 7.62X39 round i will find pics of them and showyou

It's also one of the largest money makers for Russia. It would be nice if they all just went away, and stopped terrorisim and stuff like that, but we all know that won't happen.

No way!!! The AK-47 has been rated the best assult rifle ever made up to this date! Why would they ever want to stop makeing them?

any weapon can save your life, unless you're using a water pistol.

The AK47 has already been replaced by the AK74 in most countries already anyway. And the AK47 isn't the greatest assault rifle ever. It's durable but highly inaccurate. I own both an AK74 and an AK47.
