Story here.

Do you think this was a smart choice?

Will he be able to pick up Hilary supporters?

Will McCain lose/gain some ground on his argument that Obama lacks experience?

Or do you not care because the vice-president doesn't actually do anything?

lol because the intonation of her voice is so important in regards to her electability. I heard nonsense and I just knew AGENT_86 has arrived. Sorry, but you're my arch enemy.

I just watched Gov. Palin's speech. I would rather hear her over Hillary Clinton any day. At least McCain chose someone who doesn't sound like she has a perpetual head cold.

What are you all talking about? McCain has solidified victory. She's a young, working mother, and a moderate conservative. She is going to pull many Hilary voters over to McCain.

macain wasent going to win before he picked her and hes not going to win after. it doesnt matter what she is most voters are not going to know who she is which is going to lose him votes

dizzyk, don't you know how to take anything lightheartedly? I look at everything lightheartedly and the only mistake I can ever make is to take something or someone too seriously.

thats a very good outlook. "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see".

Well, if I've learned anything in my 15 years, it's to take everything with a grain of salt. And I mean everything!!!

I just saw that whole clip and everything and I think this is a stupid choice. Its obviously a desparate plee to get Hilton voters to vote for McCain, I mean, honestly?

First of all see has less than two years of Governor experience, the pick happened because she is a woman, and she is young (which only makes McCain seem older). She doesn't have the experience to handle the VP position anyways. Just listening to some of her ideas made me laugh, first she was talking about 'going green' and being energy independent, if you noticed while this was going on there was a headliner below that said "Palin approves of clearing out Alaska wildlife in search for oil" - Going Green? Sounds like you're trying to be on two sides at once...

Currently I feel comfortable that Obama will win this election fairly easily, but if by some horrible accident that McCain and this no-name Governor from Alaska get into office then I say shame on America.

It would be a worse mistake to elect a rookie senator as PRESIDENT. I like this choice, because after 8 years experience as Vice President, she would be ready to run for President.

I Like Lon Lon ranch's response. Those were my initial thoughts also. George W bush's dad was president and he seems not to know his left from his right. So that doesn't really show any proof that experience will affect how your presidency runs.I think that having a drive for doing something shows how well the presidency will go. McCain seems to want to win the presidency, and then go take a long nap in his coffin.

Well, everyone needs to take that nap sooner or later...

It looks like he will take it later.
