The nap I'm talking about is the long nap. Well, his mom's still alive, and she's 99, so on McCain's 71st birthday, I'm not worrying about him meeting his grandparents anytime soon.
Not really. Palin and Clinton are almost exact opposites. I don't see how any Hillary supporters could see anything they like in Palin except that she's a woman. That's about it. They disagree on almost every issue, and with Palin, she has actually backed up where she stands on issues with what she's done over the past 10 years in Juneau.
Oh thats interesting. I don't know much about Palin. I was asking that maybe the image of Palin being a younger woman might sway people, but I guess not.
Well, she started as a normal mom in the PTA, then ran for the city council of her home town. After a few terms of that, she became mayor. In 2000(I think) she ran for governor and lost. Her opponent chose her to be on a board in Juneau. There she fought all kinds of corruption and was later forced to resign for being a whistleblower. In 2006, she ran again for governor and that time won.
Yea I think this attempt to snag some of the Hilton voters is rather silly. First of all, I think based on political ideals most of Hilton voters would stay on board with the Democrats, any educated voter would know better not to switch over to Republican just because of a gender issue. And I think that's what McCain was really going for, getting the first female into the VP position. If you really are voting for Palin because you want to have the first female VP in the White House then you shouldn't be voting (Factor to what politicians say, not to how they look)
Well, I think many of the angry Clinton supporters will just stay home on election day because they don't like McCain and they don't think Obama deserved to be the Democrat nominee. Obama keeps reaching out to young voters, but it is a fact that a lot of them won't go out and vote. That plus McCain being a moderate equals McCain winning in a landslide.
Oh, well then: I think that she... Well, she's no condoleezza rice. But Alaska is a conservative state, and she may get some Clinton voters. I never cared about much besides the amount of freedom given to the people.
