I loved that song because it contained everything that I thought was right in America. Now that Obama has been elected, I am very disappointed in my country. As of now, I am taking down the american next to Agent_86 and replacing it with the Filipino flag(for any questions about why the Filipino flag, ask me on my profile).
I think its sad that adults actually have accounts on armorgames....i mean.....its a game website and what kind of adult plays computer games? and i think you are adults because kids wouldn't talk about the elections in America!
Well, think of it like this. Four years, only four years. I would not be proud of being an American anyway, but because of an election? Really? He have been president for some hours now, and you think he have ruined it all? That is like tasting the salat for the head meal, and saying the meat have cooked too little, and the gravy does not taste of anything.
Ya I have been embarrassed to say I'm American for the past 8 years. Finally, just maybe, the world wont be laughing at us. Hopefully we will stop making stupid mistakes in doing things that we have no business doing, and concentrating on the important things right in front of us.
I still don't understand why so many people are upset about the election, I personally think that this is wonderful. Being probably one of the few people in this forum who is actually old enough to vote I can say that I am proud of my vote, as well as the votes of many of the Americans.
It is easy to say that you are upset with the outcome of the election but it much more noble to be able to conjure an educated reason for your belief, not the fabricated bullcrap that you hear your friends and family say in conversation that we all seem to love and absorb so much.

That is a good point (to an extent), and yes, that is part of the reason I'm almost never in this part of the forum, most of us are not mature enough to have a legit discussion on such sensitive topics.
