I saw yet another video of a group of protestors burning the American flag. The disgust me! Please tell me someone else out here agrees that it is wrong and should be illegal.
exactly. thats what makes it unique. if everyone got to choose where they were born then there would be no pride in any (race)/nationality. it is the sense of belonging that creates this pride

Yeah, that's the way we should look at this, sadly, burning a flag is a symbolic act that hits directly the heart of the concerned patriots, it's way worse than saying 'your country stinks', and looking at the OP it's still fulfilling it's goal (provocation) perfectly.

I say that our nation (USA) is founded on the principles of freedom insomuch as our exercise of these freedoms do not infringe upon other people's rights to the same. That being said, while I abhor the burning of the flag in protest, I believe it is a form of expression which does not infringe upon anyone else's rights and should be allowed.

I once heard that you Americans got very angry when an American flicked a bird in front of the Thai king's portrait and got thrown in jail. Same as the flag.
People burn the American flag because they are jealous, America is the only world superpower left and they know it. The dumb @sses who do this do it because they don't understand the idea of pride in your country and they are just trying to make a statement, they are afraid of America, they are cowards. It should be illegal, think of the hundreds of thousands of people who died for our flag, almost 1 million soldiers have given their lives for America. When you burn a flag you are spitting on the graves of every one of those people who died for an ideological society, the one we live in today, they didn't compromise they picked up a gun and fought for the flag. F*** those of you who burn the flag, I've seen people doing it and it makes me sick.
