Hamas are pretty much just retaliating to what Israel has done to Palestine, a resistance group is not a dangerous threat to a complete region or more so the world. Israel is just using that as an excuse to continue dominating Palestine and eventually wiping them out of existance, look at the big picture and you will see it. What's the matter? Can't Israel handle a couple of holes in their "beautiful homes" after what they did to the entire country? I think it's an extremely small price to pay

They don't have to die! Israelis are purposely shooting children (I saw an unbiased news report showing hundreds of children with bullet holes through their heads or heart, I'd say well aimed. Israel denies hard proof.
are you serious? If this is true...... but then, do they know it wasn't Hamas doing it? We can't really know for sure but that's really messed up. I doubt Israeli sodiers are doing that but if they are, they'd have the whole world on there backs.
Whatever happened to human rights?! If we accepted the fact that Israel marched into Gaza killing thousands, is it fair for them to do it in an extremely painful and gore-filled method?

If anyone here reads TIME magazine theres a thing about this whole situation. Israel has been fighting the Arabs for 60 years, and they're obviously not getting anywhere.
well, I thinhk the fundamental difference between what Israel is doing and what Hamas is doing boils down to this: Israel may be causing some (read: a lot of) collateral damage, but they are using very precise missiles and try their best to keep the number of innocents killed to a minimum. Hamas is shooting innaccurate rockets randomly into Israel, fully intending to do as much harm as possible to innocents.
So far since 2000 when the Qassam rocket attacks began 15 Israelis have been killed. In 17 days alone the IDF has killed 917 Palestinians, 284 of whom were children and 100 women, with around only half of the deaths actually Hamas. For any military force that is an appaling civilian to hostile kill rate. If the Israelis are so accrate, why is there such a high civilian casualty rate?
Just because Israel can win the war doesn't mean they have the right to do this. Hitler cold have won WW2, but would it have been right?
Just to put things into perspective, here are some of the reports coming out of Gaza.

He described watching his two cousins writhe in pain as he stood metres away, unable to help. âThere was an explosion and white smoke. I saw my cousins screaming . . . I saw them burning and their clothes burning. I saw their skin melting.â
One mourner described how he had been carrying the body of a badly wounded man when he saw the body of his nine-year-old son lying among the dead.
âI froze, I didnât know what to do with the dying man in my arms and my son lying dead in front of me,â
"After the smoke and dust cleared a bit, I looked around and saw 20-30 people who were dead, and about 20 who were wounded. As far as I know, the dead and wounded who were under the ruins are still there."
As he told it, Israeli soldiers arrived last weekend, ordered the inhabitants out of their homes and herded them into a house near the mosque. The soldiers gave no reasons for their actions. Two or three hours later, he said, they opened fire on the house. Some tried to escape and were shot. The Israelis then shelled the house. âEveryone started losing consciousness and the bodies started piling up. We didn't know who died and who was wounded. We started running out with our hands raised. The Jewish started shooting but not directly at us,â he said. Around half escaped. Mr Samouni ran to an uncle's house 200 yards away where he found a cousin, Nedal, 32, lying in the doorway, shot in both legs. âHe bled for seven hours and died in my arms,â he said.
Once safe he tried to call a brother's house. His niece, Apia, 8, answered. âShe said, âOh, uncle, we want water and food. My father and mother are dead. Everyone around me is dead except my little brothers'. She said they were hiding behind a closet.â
At the Shifa hospital Mads Gilbert, a Norwegian doctor, said that he had amputated the wounded left hand of a nine-month-old baby because it had festered for so long
Another girl, Amal Atteia Samouni, 11, was severely dehydrated and in shock after being partially buried under rubble. âThe girl's 22-year-old brother, who was at their bedside, described how they had been buried in the house for days, moving around the dead bodies,â Dr Gilbert said.
Ahmed Ibrahim Samouni, 13, who was wounded in the leg and chest, reeled off a list of dead relatives: âAbu Salah died, his wife died,â he told Reuters. âAbu Tawfiq died, his son died, his wife also died. Mohammed Ibrahim died, and his mother died. Ishaq died and Nasar died. The wife of Nael Samouni died. Many people died.â

i thought we've been explaining this thro the whole thread. the PALISTINIANS have been taking up with isreal for about 50 years. isreal took palistine from them and have been bombing them for years. now the palistinians cant take it anymore and are bombing them back. just tellin u.
I agree with you Woody_7007, Isreal should just contend with problems inside of it's borders, and let others take care of them, since they got their homeland that way
Countries like the US and Iran stayed out of it, this conflict could be solved much quicker.
