Well... You have effectively sucked the fun out of that... Anyway, back to the topic.
I personally believe that sex at anytime is okay as long as the person is responsible enough to realize that pregnancy can be a very real bi product of sex. Regardless of what contraception is used. As long as both parties agree on what would happen in case of pregnancy and if the answer is keep the child have a real plan set up I see nothing wrong with it.
What I do find wrong is how many people say it's one of the worst sins etc etc. If that mentality didn't exsist then the problem of backwards schools refusing to teach sex ed and only abstinance ed wouldn't exsist either.
Sorry for the double post but as I re read through this thread everyone against sex before marriage seem to be passing the solution off as if it's easy and overall moral to completely drown out part of the instincts of humans as a species. The government shouldn't have that much to do with reproduction that future generations have had the will to fuck before mariage errased completely.
People really need to stop looking at nudity as a disgusting thing. I lived with a female last year. We never had any sexual contact, but we saw each other naked several times. We did not freak out. We did not run into hiding. It's just a natural state. For some reason, there is a huge taboo around nakedness. Guess what!? I have a p*nis! Guess what!? Half of all people in the world do too! I'm not sure what the big deal is.
Now when it comes to sex before marriage, it is a personal choice. I've seen relationships that practiced abstinence that have worked wonderfully, and others that were disasters. I have seen relationships that started with sex that have turned out great, and others that have ended horribly. From my perspective, I have not seen abstinence or sex provide any higher chances of a successful marriage. It's about commitment, flexibility, and loyalty in the end.
That's a great point thelistman. I totally agree with you! I plan on practicing abstinence, only because I've seen the negative results with my parents. It boils down to it being a personal choice, I'm not going to judge anyone for that choice.
Ya, me to. God doesn't have worse or better sins. They are all the same in God's eyes you need forgiveness no matter what.
You do need forgiveness no matter what, but I might have to disagree that all sins are the same in God's eyes. I'd say a lot are the same in his eyes, but categorized under "sins against self", which affect only you, and "sins against others", which also hurt them.
Sexual sins that involve others might also affect them, ie pregnancy and relationships that rely only on sex. But yes, sexual sins would always be against yourself too.
