This news will upset some of you. This news will gladden some of you. This news may be met with a "this issue is dragging on far too much" by most of the rest of you.

Nonetheless, I pass the message on that gay marriage is now fully legal in the state of Conneticut.

My only question is whether this ruling is subject to appeal.

OMG, thats not cool! Gay marrige should not be legal. We don't need to be that free. That just is'nt right. Is the goverment sure about this law?

What do you mean, "is the government sure about this law?" It has to be sure about this law, seeing as the Supreme Court ruled 4:3 in favor of ruling that it can (and should) be passed.

But as I was saying before, I can't help but be reminded of California.

Why is it that two people loving each other cannot be together, and marry? Seriously, homosexuals are not trying to invade your church or anything, but saying that they should not be allowed to amrry is that same as saying handicapped should not, mentally unstable persons should not either, racists should not, or sexists for that matter.
Anyone that does not fit into your standards.
Just look at the problems with the 24-years-of-age rule in Denmark. People could really care less, and the only reason it is there is to prevent 2-generation immigrants from having to marry the people their parents have decided on.
This hinders a lot of people from getting married, but if people really wants to be married, they just move to Sweden, and stay there until they reach the 24 years of age. Then they move back.
When you see that, you should realize that is almost retarded to put any ostical in the way of people who love each other.
Do you not think it is hard enough to be a homosexual in the US? With all the basher, like you, who think it should be illegal to just think about someone of the same sex?
If so, then GET THE FREAKIN PORN INDUSTRY TO SHORT OFF FIRST!
Because that is homosexual/bisexual as well.

Gays are mental-disturbed people who need to be in jails or special hospitals for treatment.

WHo is more right here, the people who hate, or the people who love? And no, homosexuals are not trying to score you anymore than men in general tries to win over lesbians. There is a greater risk of hetero sexuals being more than annoying and trying to dryhump a woman's leg, than a homosexual man is going to even put his eyes on you. Because... You are not that hot/his type.
So get over the phobia and try to be a little tolerant towards love.

This will not affect anyone, no more than regular marriages do. If people marrying each other in general is a problem to you, well, then it is okay for you to protest against this, and any other marriage, homosexual or not.
If it is because of you hating homosexuals, then you are intolerant, and will be put by the suicide terrorists that do it for Allah, and most religious fanatics and self concious atheists, at least in my book.
It is love. It is love and some legal goods. It is not people kicking in your door and having sex on your couch while you watch. You would most likely not notice anything, and the only reason you opject to it, is because you do not have the courage to actually care about other human beings.

Gays did not start AIDS or HIV for that matter, and homosexuals usually protect themselves better than heterosexuals do.

Applauds Cen. Just one thing to say. Who are you/we to decide whether or not this is morally ethical? You can have gay friends, it's only dangerous when they act stupid. Apart from that, if they're not interested (sexually) in you, what's the big deal? Will seeing two guys/girls holding hands and walking down the street endanger you? Will it harm you in any way? Will it give you HIV? Will it spread HIV? (Apart from being offended).

This is starting to get silly. Who are the government to decide whether guys/girls can marry each other. They aren't affected, nothing will happen to them if guys can marry, so why even bother in the first place. Legalise it, and get it over. This just produces more trouble at every turn.

Instead of such unmature arguments that do not flesh out your reasoning one bit, come up with a decent one. And a long one.

Gays or lesbians for that matter, are just people trying to find love. Most of them aren't violent people. It's just unnatural to some extent and I think it's that psychological barrier that muddles and messes up people's view on them. If you allow these marriages, you in fact satisfy their desire for love, instead of finding it by illegal and criminal means....

People always assume that being gay means being violent, sick, HIV positive, a rapists, deranged etc etc. But no in fact, not all gays are as such. A teacher in my school was a gay, he didn't harm the kids in anyway, the kids liked him, he taught well but he was forced to retire. And if you think about it, these not straight people are accepted if they are famous. Look at Ellen Lee DeGeneres. Wow, so people can take a lesbian if she's rich...But not an ordinary one?

So you are a priest. Still, you are not God. Therefore, you should not judge others for what they do and who they love. You should only keep your eyes on yourself and watch what you do.

And:
This should not turn into the homosexual thread. Therefore we should not discuss whether being homosexual is right or wrong, but solely why they should/should not be allowed to marry.

I think that gay marriage should be forbidden in every country in this world!Gays have serious mental problems.


They're born that way, it's hard to cure them. It's not as if they chose to be so, unless they were influenced in one way or another and grew up to be a gay.

And when has just one person's opinion ever mattered? Especially to congress. Plus, come up with a more convincing argument or at least one with facts and not the same old one.
