I my self am a proud veg and im a guy i dont see any thing wrong with that, however my peers constantly put me down for it. I question others about it and some say that animals are kiled to keep the population under control, then shouldnt we do that to humans? are there any other vegetarians on armor? if you are a caravor responding to this please try not to be insultive i get enough from my freinds and family
Did you guys hear about how scientists have made breakthroughs in being able to grow muscle tissues, for example beef, chicken, etc. muscles. So we could just grow the muscular protein for consumption without killing a living animal.
I respect that you don't eat meat, and that you live by something you believe in. To me, the coolest people in this world, are the ones that are unique and stand up for their beliefs even if they are the minority.
Its because American men live by the notion that man = testosterone pumping macho destruction machine. SO they will always have negative comments about saving cutesy animals, and eating broccoli.
Skipper you have many points there, but you really don't belive that the whole world will stop eating meat, because it's wrong to kill animals. Humans do bad things, just because someone says that it's bad, they won't stop, nor do some care, I can eat both meat and veggies but I really don't think that I could live on without meat.

Yeah, so I mean you can't stop the "food chain" because this is the way some peole are like, you can't change the minds of billions of people, saying: "it's wrong" Also did you say that it's okey to eat the animal if it's alrady dead from natural causes? Well the way you said that eating meat is wrong, makes it sound like your not happy with eaither! It is'nt wrong to eat animals that have beed killed by natural causes, but it is wrong to eat animals that are alive? That makes no sense! Because your really just going against what you said earllier!
Okay, we are on the top of the food chain and we are more.. intellegent than animals--yes, I know that humans are animals too--but we need to stick up for them, because they don't have voices to defend themselves with. I have nothing wrong with eating meat, but I think we should only kill when necessary. And fur coats--are they really necessary to have? I doubt it. Unless you are in extremely cold regions, I hardly think it's right to shave and skin animals for their "clothes".

We are just somewhat smarter and we have thumbs that is pretty much it really.
To he whole natural thing. It is natural for higher up creatures on the food chain to eat things that are lower but as skipper said, the way we do it is not that animal-freindly and not very natural.
To the eating humans: that first of all is creepy. Secondly that is almost exactly like killing animals. Compared to us animals are inceffeciant and stupid so if we killed and ate humans that were like that I don't see a difference...other than the fact that its kinda creepy.
Does this mean I'm going to stop eating animals? No. Does this mean I'm sorry for an animal that was killed? Yes but one person not eating meat will not even hurt the meat company a little. With a hundred or thousand it might feel like a pin prick. With all of america, well you just screwed up the economy but whatever, it would hurt them badly.
I forgot this and am sorry for the double post but I do think what you are doing is noble but ineffective. Maybe a large scale protest with news attetion or something would be a better way.
