Strop made a thread about this a long time ago, but I couldn't find it. Even if I did, I would get yelled at for raising the dead, so lets just continue conversation here.
You guys may not understand what I'm trying to ask, but it's okay. I'll try to explain.
Do you think God, If there is one, would allow a person to go back in time and change history?
This thread is mostly for Christians, but you atheist may join in too. Since I'm an atheist I think this will be interesting.
Yes, actually there is evidence. You just gotta do some research instead of just blindly holding on to opinions. I'm not here to argue or convince anybody. You have internet...look it up, see what makes sense to you. If you don't at least do the research, your opinions are completely biased.

yes there were mysteries to some artifacts. 2012.... is a number. for all we know it could be 6,554,448,779. if mayans had the ability to see the future then do you think they'd understand English?

No, I don't think they would. They were able to see what was going to happen, but not partake in the happenings. I don't think English existed 2000 yrs ago.
At least you did the research. But just because what makes sense to other people doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean a "fail" or however you put it. Look at the diversity of religion. It all makes sense to its followers, but hold their opinions to a follower of a different religion, and they go totally apeS#!&, and vice versa.
Keep in mind people back then were more in tune to the universe. Maybe they didn't need technology in some areas?

If you're in a debate with someone, you have to back up your own points.

It's a possibility, but we'll never really know . . . unless we time travel D:
Wow, it just occurred to me I'm trying to reason with a 14 year old kid...that explains a lot.
Hmmmm . . . try 'reasoning' with this just-turned-13 kid. See how it turns out.
Sorry if I sounded arrogant . . . but age profiling is a bit of a pet peeve for me.
And so, I apologize in advance for arrogance or coldness in conversations concerning the subject.
Don't feel like catching up with what everyone is saying right now...
But I don't see why he wouldn't. When we discovered cloning, he didn't come down to Earth and say "no! It doesn't work like that!" A couple of religious people claim that it's sin, though. Playing God. 'N' stuff.
But yeah, what Voidy says; if he allows mass murder, famine and whatnot, why wouldn't he allow time travel?
hmm well an interesting idea came up what if all those big things in the old testament were cause of technology from the future like those people who turned into salt at sodem and gahmorah or how joshua kept the sun from setting those kind of big epic things
