should the kid be allowed to sit, or should we let some cerebral-palsy fellows hack away at him with chainsaws?
Lets keep Africa away from America for the time being, and let him do what he wants. At the end of the day, no one but his opinions count. It's his decision to sit or stand, and it's ours to judge him accordingly.

as said before in previous posts (( yes, i read them -.- all 4 pages * a slight sigh*)) i believe there is a difference between speaking up for gay rights and denying the fundamentals of America, yes it is his right to stand or not, and i respect his decisions(s), but many , many people have died in order to fly the (american) flag over this soil and to keep up the laws given by our forefathers.
isn't it his choice? i stand and say the pledge, and both of my grandfathers and one grandmother are veterans. i do choose to leave out the "under God", as it was a political ploy used for red scare purposes only. and im agnostic. but i do think not even standing is disrespectful. unless he's in a wheelchair.

Lol... No, it was from when a time when 99% of the American population was christian. It's not a government ploy, it's tradition. You shouldn't be forced to say it if you don't want to.
