Uhh thats not true bill Clinton paid all of it back but George w bush spent so much on the wars we have so much debt. this is why were screwed and have no health care system.

That's not true either. Clinton and the republican Congress ran a surplus for several years, but that surplus was just for that year. They did not pay back the debt.

Ya, look at the character Napoleon.

No, not the literal names of the characters, but it just doesn't quite work for the Russian Revolution. Almost everything fits for the French Revolution though.

napoleon = stalin
snowball = trotskey

I dunno how any of this fits into the french revolution.

Of course it works for the Russians. It was made specifically for them.

Consider that Lenin did not die on the eve of the Russian Revolution, but was alive all throughout the Revolution itself and civil war.

Stalin did not train the secret police or army. He ousted Trotsky through political means, then solidified his power with the army and NKVD.

I'm not sayin it doesn't work for the Russian Revolution, just that it works better in conjunction with the French Revolution.

If he doesn't look like a mad scientist I don't know who does. I always thought the name Trotsky was funny.

Most people come to this country not for health care benefits, but for work or family. The United States is the last advanced democracy that does not have universal health care. I think if some of the more wealthier people were made to dig a little deeper in their pockets the issue with tax burdens on the middle class-ish would wither away.

It's not the fact that it will be expensive, I fear it is the fact that the average American will pay a higher tax rate than the wealthy elite. Lower taxes for the poor, raise them for the rich.

That's not it at all unless you're paranoid. Universal health care will raise taxes, it has nothing to do with the rich, unless you're suggesting that only the rich pay for health care through taxes while everyone else benefits off it.

Lower taxes for the poor, raise them for the rich.

Why should the rich have to lose more than the poor? Not all rich people are thieves, and not all poor people are innocent. Let everyone pay relatively the same percent in taxes! Equality for everyone! Everyone works, everyone pays!

What could a person possibly spend billions of dollars on? Not even Michael Jackson went that far into debt.

Well, first off, I dont think anybody in the history of known debtors has been that far into debt. And spending 1.1 Trillion dollars is ridiculos. Yes, I think out (the US' health care should be fixed, but a massive overhaul such as the one about to take place is simply riduculous. And a liberal/democrat friend mentioned that is Obama is so against borrowing money, bad finances etc, etc, then why is he borrowing massive amounts of money to support the Health Care Bill. Now, I don't know if this is true or not, but it it is...

I didnt quote anything

this is called a quote, Dan >.>

Russian revolution >_>

What Firefly said. Also, it is about (Animalist) communist animals that have a revolution, overthrow Mr. Jones, and establish an animal COMMUNE under COMMUNIST ideas.

OR at least, Russian socialist ones.

Four legs good, two legs bad! *bleat bleat*

~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~

Dude, stuff on a government, countrywide level costs a lot of money. Asking who could possibly spend a billion dollars on anything is like asking how someone could spend more than $1000 on home improvement.

A billion isn't a lot on a national level, especially when the private sector produces multiple trillions of dollars a year.

No no no, I meant a citizen, not the government. Obviously they have managed to blow trillions. One must remember that the profits made by the US total only around 4T... at least that was the last I knew.
