Runescape membership is only worth it when you are a high lvl before you are a member because then you could defeat and beat a ton of cool quests and you can also do most of the stuff that lvl20 wouldn't survive in and you get a house but if you chose runescape would be a waste of money if you didn't start before hand.
Try some games like these, bet you've never heard most of them
- Dofus online (Its a REALLY fun game. It ate up practically my whole summer. You don't have to pay to play it but if you get serious its only 7$ for a one month membership)
-12sky (I've played it for a while, paying is optional but i got to a high level and had lots of fun without paying a penny. Great graphics too.)
-Sonny 2 but I'm sure you've already tried it. One of the best non-downloadable RPG's I've seen
-Feudalism 2 is also good, it will last you about a week
P.S: Runescape sux after they took out the wilderness. Period.
