I think this is more of a halberd.

I'm not sure an axe head so small would constitute it as one. They don't seem large enough to be anything other than a decoration.

It's actually there to stop the thrust I think, so the spear doesn't get stuck in an opponent.

It could potentially it matters how well it's crafted. But most are just made for looks not durability or balance.

Well the holes, and fancy cuts in the blade make it much lighter while keeping the size. But I'm guessing it might comprise the blades structural integrity.

my favorite is a sword that can be wielded in 1 hand or 2 hands, and is double edged. i how ever, don't know thats called.
