It is my opinion that they should be able to do anything that straight people can do. The fact that we are restricting them from getting married reminds me to much of the restrictions we placed upon women and blacks which most people would agree were terrible. I would also like to point out that I am not gay, I just believe in the freedom of the people. Feel free to post the opposing side of this as always.
Simple as this. Homos should be able to get married, as long as it isn't a religous marriage. There's my two cents. I still think it's wrong unnatural but I'll give them that much.
Hermaphrodites can also get married - they usually choose a gender (based on the sexual organs they have/their chromosomes).
This made me wonder... Straight (mentally at least - gay physically pre-op) transsexuals who haven't had their body modified to fit the sex they want to be yet ... Dammit, lost track of the thought. Err. Would that count as a gay marriage, even if the transsexual acts and maybe even looks completely straight, just doesn't have the bits to match?
Homosexuality is a completely natural thing! There are animal life forms who are completely homosexual, and people are saying its not natural? The love counts when marrying, and if that love is between two people of the same gender, so be it.

I don't know - it depends on where you live. If you have all your documents changed to fit the Gender you want to be (in your example - female) then you should count as female and it isn't Gay marriage. There have been a few debates about this in states like Wisconsin I believe. Different states have different rulings on the matter.

I shouldn't imagine they are very long lived if they are COMPLETELY Homosexual - in fact - you'd have about one generation and nothing more.
I see no reason why homosexuals should not be able to get legally married. They would get the same benefits from the state as any other married couple. However, religious marriage (i.e. a union in the eyes of God, etc.) is completely up to the pastor and congregation.
Religion has been around for a long time, and generally its statements have ruled over science until recently.
That's true. And so far EVERY SINGLE claim that religion has made regarding science has been definitively disproved.
Science cannot explain this statement properly
Completely untrue. It's easily and very obviously explained using modern psychology as well as evolutionary knowledge. We find it immoral to kill because it degrades the trust and safety that a functional society needs, and we need society to thrive. Morals are a product of evolutionary necessity.
Also, you're suggesting a lot of plants are homosexuals, because they have complete reproduction systems.
Plants are not cognizant beings as are many of the higher species in the animal kingdom. So that comparison is invalid. The point I'm making is that many holy texts, and the Bible especially, claim that simply performing a sexual act with one of the same gender is immoral and filthy in the sight of God, yet we have numerous examples of this occurring quite frequently in other animals.
So the question is, if God detests it, then why do animals which DO NOT have free will engage in the practice? It is obvious that these urges come from a primal and instinctual drive which is not governed by choice or reason. And if it's instinctual in other animals then it must be instinctual in humans as well.
Homos should be able to get married, as long as it isn't a religous marriage.
And why is that? Are homosexual Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. any less worthy of having their religion represented in their ceremony? Or do you just not want to see the message board outside of your church announcing the marriage between two men?
In my opinion gays should be have the same rights as straights and the fact that they dont is sad, marriage is a ritual shared by two people that love each other why does it matter if they are the same sex?
I agree to gay marriage, they're people too, and love is not something you can just choose, you find your mate and it just clicks! Who cares whether it's a guy or a girl? They love each other, that's what matters, and it's the same with raising children!

Well Mr.Walker, don't take this the wrong way but...the religious aren't exactly fond of homosexuals, surely you know this. I mean, a great majority of those that oppose gay marriage are the religious. Having them get married the Christian way would be against their religion and they will feel insulted. Trust me; I know how these guys are; I used to be one.
