Should I tell my parents that I am gay. I am going to tell them eventually but should I tell them sooner? And should I tell the guy that I like that I am gay? Or do you think that if I told him it would scare him away?
You should tell your parents, I mean I think it wouldn;t ruin your relationship with your parents, if they found out from somebody other than you. And as for the other person, go with your gut, that's the best advice I can give you.
Ok, this is a sarcastic reply, not meant to be taken to heart.
Hire a gay person, tell him to come to your house, then when both of you are infront of your parents. Start making out. And see the reaction on there faces. --
But seriously, I don't know. Just tell them, up front and blunt. And see how they take it. If they really do love you, then they'll understand.

That might actually work, I'm completely serious, but that might freak them out completely, so maybe not. [quote]But seriously, I don't know. Just tell them, up front and blunt. They kind of are suspicious of my sexuality, and they are kinda mean. We were watching Secret Life of an American Teenager[I know weird] me and my mom and dad. And there was a gay guy on there and he told his parents and all. And well the dad on tv was cool with it. And both of my parents said that that wasn't how it worked in real life. And that if I were gay they wouldn't accept me and all that. I felt kinda bad at that moment.

Hmm, That does suck. I would be like, "mom and dad, I am gay" Then if they are like "OMGWTFBBQGTFO". If they do that, then be like, "OMG I am just joking." See what happens from there, but when you say that you are gay, say it in a serious manner.

It seems to me like that wouldn't accomplish anything.
I had a simialar problem telling my christian parents I was an athiest just tell them it will take a weight of your chest trust me
I'm sure it would, my parents are Catholic and they say I would go to hell if I ever turned out to be gay.
