I saw this Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer in which a sniper gets bombed after a remote controlled model car strapped with a bomb device (cute, ain't it?) got him. So I'm confused now. Are snipers supposed to camp?

camping is almost the best strategy move ever if snipers wont camp in the real life they would be killed easly just think like that


No, don't think like that.

Bunnying gets you killed in real life, yet its one of the most used and effective tactics and in CoD MW series.

That's more than enough to prove you wrong.

Sorry if I sound blunt, I'm not in a good mood today.
But yeah, it's better to camp as sniper, yet running around QS NS'ing on MW2 can do wonders.

snipers are supposed to help hold choke points by takin out the enemies that try to get through one by one. Such as hiding in the bunker in afghan and shooting into the cave, or over near Flag A so that you do not get flanked. camping is more hiding so that your kd doesnt go down and so you get easy kills, snipers should, theoretically take more skill than that.
