I believe that you are completely and utterly incorrect in your absurd assumptions. I, and a legion of others, believe that the Abrahamic God is just another in a long-line of made up entities. Of course, to paraphrase Richard Dawkins: "Everyone is an Atheist, some of us just believe in a few less Gods than the rest"

If you can provide me with objective proof that your particular fictional characters (AKA Jesus and the Abrahamic God) exist and have all the supposed powers and Heaven/Hell exist - I will be more than happy to switch to your side.

Well, Jesus is actually considered to be a real historical figure. However, the assume him to have suffered from severe dellusions which led to him being crucified.

I can research and find proof for why Jesus is Lord, but that won't convince anybody. All I know is that I have seen God do miracles in my life and my families lives, that cannot be coincidences. I have a personal relationship with Jesus, that is not one sided. And no, I am not hearing voices.
Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I am new and haven't looked at all the threads yet.

I have a personal relationship with Jesus, that is not one sided.

Could you tell me more about this? Is it the kind of relationship where he tells you to do stuff, or do you have slumber parties and share gossip? Perhaps you're even more than "just friends"? Details plx.

I don't believe in anything at all. And the reason I lack belief is the same reason for everyones' beliefs, around the world; that's what I was taught. Not necessarily taught, you know, "There is no God," but I was not raised to believe in the Biblical Lord, I was not raised to believe in Krishna or Vishnu, I was raised with no religion so that's what I am.

But made-up stories on the internet, assumptions, connections, etc...that is not proof. Therefore, of course, whatever &quotroof" you find will be dismissed.

Really? Whenever I try to pray, all I hear is my voice. I don't hear Jesus praying to me. I really can't truly love someone with out meeting them first.

I'd beg you to stay active though as we haven't had a Christian who's grammar isn't awful in months.

Personally I'm an agnostic atheist, that is why I don't necessarily believe in a god I'm not opposed to the idea either.

Because there is no proof...

And even if he did exist, what makes him "lord"? I find monarchs to be out of date. I wouldn't follow him at all...

Care to give an example? The only thing that "Could not be a coincidence" would be something that modern science can not cure and that will not go away on its own, like an amputated leg for example. Once he fixes an amputee then it can't be a coincidence. Until then, it is only a coincidence...

Well this thread is active and the other isn't as well as this thread was created by a new member who most likely would like to get a real time view of other's beliefs, it's also asserting that Jesus is Lord.
