I believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and died on the cross for all our sins and did miracles his whole life.

What do you believe, and why?

How about we just say neither figure exists eh? Seems like it would simplify things a bit, also Satan embodies temptation and while giving in would be the human reaction Christianity is about rising up your humanity in order to better yourself.

what good has the devil ever brought to you?
or, for that matter, what good has any religion brought anyone? in reality, this is just a debate of which possible (but highly unlikely) religous figure is good and true. neither. both are just falacies, lies told to young ones to make them strive for hope, something that people hold true to their hearts in attempt to bring about more courage into their lives.

No not really, Jesus existed. Definately. The question is, was he sane or not?

I do have it amazing. I do. But you can't use that as proof of God's existence, because millions of people that aren't me have horrible, terrible lives

When you think of having it horrible, most people will think of being poor and being looked down upon by society.
But those people may be the purest of soul and have what is good in Heaven. Who is truly better off, the person who has a big house with a nice car on earth or the person who lives forever in Heaven?

the man with the car, as for heaven is just a theory (because it is unproven, i call it a theory) used in attempt to answer the question "where do we go when we die?" i believe that there is no heaven, and is no hell. who is to judge us in where we "deserve" to end up for eternity? nobody. not god, nor jesus, nor any other mythical being. as to what happens after we die, not even science can prove that. the only ones who can are the dead, and they aren't talking.

I call bs, there is no heaven.
Mother Teresa's home for the dying advocated suffering so you could get to know Jesus. But here's the thing; there is no heaven, and suffering sucks. Lol.

Millions.

You are right that we can't prove it, but is there any evidence to suggest it not exist?

All I want is not to push my beliefs down your throats, but to state my beliefs and ask that you consider them.

mmbad i are sorry.

Well i...i actually don't care...I don't care if you say Jesus is lord or Mohamed is Lord or whatever. it wouldn't change the fact of:

Maybe its the millions who died, the hundreds of years of scientific achievement held back, or the hate that religion breeds? Ever think of that?

Well Hyper, if people could find it in their hearts to help these poor people instead of criticizing other people's beliefs, maybe they wouldn't have to starve.

Riiiight....
Or maybe the religions could donate just a little bit of their money?
And I don't like how you phrased that. I have donated before. Have you?

Yes, religions do donate money

And I don't like how you phrased that. I have donated before. Have you?

Yes, I have donated before even though I don't have a fixed income or job.
Also, if you don't believe in God, how can starvation be His fault?

Maybe if all that money the congregation and pope collect went to the poor people this wouldn't be an issue? And besides, I can do both criticize and help the poor.

And while there at it, why don't they pay taxes? Last I checked they weren't very charitable...

I never said that.

Yes, religions do donate money

I know they do, but I'm saying, that's still a lot of money wasted.

1.The church gets no fixed income or salary as their main supply of money is through donations.
2.If they give all their money to the poor, what about the people who struggle with life threatening diseases?

It doesn't have to be disproved(Not sure if that's the right word, but disproven had a squiggly line.) if it isn't proven in the first place.

But those people may be the purest of soul and have what is good in Heaven.

And who, exactly, knows what's required to get into heaven? You? Your local priest? This woman seems to think she's doing God's work, and will go to heaven. Do you agree?
