Here's a live feed to the results.

It would appear that the predictions were right, the Republicans are on track to win the House and are looking to make gains in the Senate although as of now there has only been a one seat change. Republicans winning the house means that John Boehner of Ohio will become the House majority speaker. Right now Republicans have gained a governor but according to the current results there is a very high chance that they will win more.

Looking at it from a political point of view the Republicans came into power at a very good time as in the next four years it's likely the economy will recover or at least get better which Republicans will be able to claim is there doing. Also this represents a shift in American politics meaning we could see the conservative ramifications of this for years.

So, what do you think?

1. The government won't admit that the system is failing and will merely keep feeding into the system

Isn't this what happened with the insurance system?

I live in a all red state for the first time in 92 years, where am I?

(I'm not 92, thats just how longs it's been since this has been a all red state. Governer/Senate)

America is screwed, let all the impatient people have there 2 years of hell, and see how wrong they were.

I don't want waiting times. You admitted there are waiting times. I see no reason why I still need to try your system when you admitted there is a flaw with the system that I really do not want.

Congrats you've just proven your diliberate ignorance. You're poking fun at MY country while your country's system has gone so far down the hole we're not even sure if it still exists. But just for the fun of getting out of this endless bickering I have a question. Does America have OAC (On approved credit)?

colorado was so tight, but i didnt really matter. we elected hickenlooper as our governer which was cool cause i like him alot. but we have a couple republicans in the house and a democratic senate so sounds like a good government to me.

in navada though..... sheesh that was rough over there, talk about a classic lesser of two evils battle

Just because I haven't tried something does not mean I am ignorant. You probably think **** is a terrible thing, but you really can't have an opinion on **** because you have not been *****.

If you want change, don't go for anything that is different, go for whatever you think will work and avoid change you think wont work.

. You're poking fun at MY country while your country's system has gone so far down the hole we're not even sure if it still exists.

I never once said that I support our system. At least you have options. Maybe not everyone is covered, but when I do get covered and if I'm not dropped (which is not as likely as you make it out to be), then I want fast and efficient health care.

If I am dropped, then that sucks for me.

Replacing one failing system with another failing system that can't be reversed (when and if a better system is created) is ridiculous.

Does America have OAC (On approved credit)?

**** = molestation/molested

Just so everyone is on the same page, I am merely pointing out the fallacy in the mindset that someone must experience something to have an opinion on it.

I think that American politics is nothing but a stagnant pool of bickering idiots who have lost sight of what they're trying to do. They're more concerned with how the appear on TV than what their actual agendas are. A Republican will bash a Democrat simply because the Democrat suggests something that will benefit everyone over a single person, while a Democrat will do the reverse to the Republican (than is bash them because of their views).

That is how i guess ALL politics are not only american. At least greek are too but instead of republicans and democrats put the two major partys (New Democracy and PASOK)

doombreed id hate to live in greece right now. from what ive HEARD your system is completly goinng under.

and thats why i supoorted hickenlooper for colorado governer, cause he truly cares about my state. and he doesnt care what he looks like on TV.

same thing wth Buck. he does not give a rats *** what anybody else thinks about him, he sais what he has to say and if people dont like his ideas then thats there problem.

Well our system hasn't gone down the hill. Any party never holds more than 35 seats out of 120. The parties have to negotiate to start a government and to pass a major law. It means that any party calling out "we're the best" and being a total sucker to other parties (kind of like in the US) will not achieve anything.

thats why im glad the republican party tookover the house. this way we have checks and balances again and the democrats cant do whatever the hell they want anymore (stupid health care plan)
